I never argued that we would have won in the end even if that didn't happen. But yet, it kind of blows the momentum of the game so we will never really know what could have happened. If you have ever played sports, you would understand.
Try again, anon. -
You picked the best place to leave this, my friend.

Thank you, tumblr friend. I tried to make it more modern, as I was living up the old "Devil Rays." I didn't think anyone would have noticed. Hopefully we get a win tomorrow. :)

againstelegies.tumblr.com :) I don't update it often, though, but I was thinking about perhaps getting around to doing so more often. There are so many other things that aren't Rays-related that I have wanted to comment on. It's pretty hard to just keep up with this blog, but hey.. I could stop being lazy today! Thanks for the comment, as I know I love your tumblr.

I just logged into this thing for the first time in forever, so I wanted to say thank you. I saw the Phillies in the World Series in '93, being from PA myself, and it was a lot of fun. I enjoy watching them as well.

I doubt it, but give it your best shot in guessing who I am. Where are you from?

Desmond Jennings from the Durham Bulls. We just signed Zorilla, which takes out or budget for Carl Crawford, and I think Jennings would be a phenomenal kick to the team next year.
I also highly like Jeremy Hellickson, whom is now pitching for the Durham Bulls. -
Carlos Pena.
He's an exciting factor to our line-up, with an amazing home run percentage from year to year. Whenever we are down, or close, it's good to see this man walk up to the plate. He makes me feel better about the game.
In 2007, he finished second to Arod with 46 home runs. (Arod had 54, if you must know.) He was then named "Comeback player of the year" in 2007. "With this award he is allowed to donate $20,000 to Dominican youth under the poverty line."
In 2008, he won the Gold Glove award.
In 2009, he starred in the MLB All-Star game. "Despite missing the last few weeks of the season, he still finished tied for the lead for home runs in the American League at 39, sharing with Mark Teixeira of the New York Yankees." Keep in mind, that the new New York stadium is called the "home run" stadium because of it's structure, and how so many people hit homers out of that stadium, so really, Pena should get more credit than Teixeira, being he did not play in that stadium as much.
Not only do I like Pena on the field, I love more than anything Pena the humanitarian.

Ask me anything, especially about baseball, and even more specific about the Rays. Come on, challenge me.
