me and my girlfriend of over a year decided (mutually) to take a break because the timing isn't right but we still love each other very much. do you think it's okay to "see" other people though? not that i'm interested but i'm just looking for an opinion.
There are two ways to end a relationship: temporarily and permanently. The temporary way is a called a "break" like you are describing. When issuing a break, it's always good to set down some ground rules, and I think that is what you and your girlfriend are lacking. When you take break with the intention of getting back together in the future, it's good to know if you are allowed to date others and when you two plan on being together again.
