I think you answered your own question with the word, "Yet"
There are several explanations for this though. I personally prefer the quantum theory that when you travel back you actually create a new alternate universe hence not disturbing you original timeline and allowing you to do whatever you like without thought of disastrous consequences!
Alternatively, there are very good laws in the future that say they shouldn't go back to before time machines were invented to avoid paradoxes.
Or its just so expensive so few people can afford to do it that no one bothers visiting us!
