The notes in the Andrews Study Bible are helpful in understanding how the translators of the NIV may have arrived at the translation of Isaiah 14:12. However, we are not defending the use of one translation over another. All versions, including the KJV, have strengths and weaknesses regarding the translation of various passages. Bible scholars often encourage comparing various translations to arrive at a balanced understanding of truth, and this encouragement is routinely explained to new believers.

It's largely a matter of to what degree a congregation can support itself independently. The first step is often Mission Group status which is often born from a Sabbath School class at another church, or a group of people in a region who want to worship at a convenient location. At some point, a Group is able to support themselves via tithe and offerings to a limited degree, show progress with evangelistic effort, and qualify to organize as a Company with sponsorship of a parent church. Upon the ability to operate fully independently and meet certain other criteria, the congregation can qualify to organize as full Church status. The amount of time it takes to progress from one status to another is entirely up to the congregation. It could be many years. Or, in some cases, a group of people had sufficient resources to organize into a Company almost immediately, and as a Church in about a year.

The SSNet.org Study Guides page at http://ssnet.org/study-guides/ - third heading down. At the end of the first bullet item is a direct link to the iTunes (iPhone/iPad) app and another link for the Android app. As for GraceLink, from what I can see, that comprises the content of younger Sabbath School divisions, and all divisions' content is available within the Sabbath School app, linked above. You'll need to contact the General Conference Sabbath School/Personal Ministries office for more information.

Quarterlies are distributed through local churches. They are not free, however most churches cover the cost of them for their own members. If you are unable to acquire a copy through your church, you can purchase them at the Adventist Book Center or use the Sabbath School Net web site at http://ssnet.org/ and click Study Guides. From there, you can study via the web site, download PDF versions, or find the link to the free iPhone/iPad/Android Sabbath School app.

There is a church lookup tool on our web site at http://www.floridaconference.com/churches/ where you can find churches within Florida Conference. You'll want to use the "Search by Distance" portion to enter a city name or zip code, then choose how many miles from that location you wish to search.
When you perform a search, the results will give three links under each name: a map, the church's web site, and more information that should include meeting times, pastor, contact information, etc. -
The featured speaker is Steve Riley, senior pastor of Stanmore Avenue Church in Port of Spain, Trinidad. Morning devotionals will be presented by Elizabeth Talbot, associate speaker for The Voice of Prophecy broadcast.
