Metallic, metallic, METALLIC! :) You can also have metallic together with futuristic styles too, which is what I was obsessed with last year (and still am). Another I'm beginning to go into is also bold printing, but because I'm short, I avoid bold prints against white backgrounds :)

Oh wow, there's so many right now O_o;
1. Colour blocking, but in order to do so, you gotta know the right stuff and how to mix and match the colours. It's hard if you don't, it makes you look like a walking rainbow.
2. Metallic fever! This can be anything from bottoms (Jeans are popular right now), to jackets. But only have ONE clothing item that is metallic, unless if you have a dress then that's fine. All accessories can be metallic too, but there's a certain amount you can wear. I usually like to keep it to a minimum, unless its Chrome Hearts :) Or you can have all accessories metallic, but your clothing plain to make it stand out.
3. Menswear - seriously, not joking. The new trend for autumn/winter is menswear-inspired clothing. Suits, ties, cloaks, loafers, you name it.
4. Super bold prints - really, need I say more? It's perfect for spring because you can use floral designs, or just simple designs that stand out. Don't be afraid to go to the extreme! But just make sure you have one item that is in a simple colour, like black floral printed pants with gold printed jacket :)
5. Futuristic style - it's usually a really unusual print that is against a metallic background. Clothing items would be edgy with fierce, like sharp shoulder blazers or metallic snakeskin printed jeans.
6. Pastel colours - it's soft on the body and comfy, not to mention looks flattering :)
7. Orange and tangerine - these colours stand out, make anyone looks confident and is beautiful. Can be anything from jackets, pants, jeans, shoes, etc. Make it pop out against everything else that's neutral! :)
8. Peplum skirts and/or dresses - This one isn't that high on my list, because event though it's in trend, it's VERY hard for this style to suit everyone. You need a particular body shape in order to make it look good, not to mention it will age you dramatically depending on the way you style it up with everything else you're wearing.

My personally favourite is metallic fever, I'm just in the process of collecting everything that's metallic xD!
