Thank you! I rather not mention the name of the jeweler because I wouldn't recommend them - in short, they "lost" some of our heirloom jewels they were supposed to re-set. Very, very shady. But luckily, I noticed a lot of jewelers carrying many different colored sapphires lately. It won't be as hard for you as it was for me to find a ceylon sapphire ring. I'm sorry if this wasn't helpful but you really don't want to deal with my ex-jeweler.

Hi Erin! I think the best photo of my e-ring is here: http://www.femmerationale.com/2009/06/summertime-livin-is-easy.html
It's a cushion cut sapphire w/diamonds around it and a 3 row diamond eternity band. I really like Erica Courtney jewelry, 23rd Street Jewelers in Santa Monica, Phillip Press & Fred Leighton. I don't know if you live in LA, but I would also suggest paying a visit to the jewelry district in downtown.

      Good luck and congratulations!!

I like messy, unkempt, rolled out of bed hair. But it still needs to look washed cuz I'm not really down with the greasy look that people seem to be sporting these days. *cough* KStew *cough* Fave hairstyle on me? Anything that requires little to no work and it doesn't get in my eyes. I hate that.

Hm...it does take some getting used to. And not everyone who's tried it, loves it (my bro hates it & prefers a mouse). I just hold it like a pen with my thumb resting lightly on the buttons. I would say use it consistently for a week or 2 and hopefully you'll find your rhythm.

What I'm still doing - designing. I love designing and being creative which is probably why I fell in love with photography. It was another creative outlet. What started out as purely a hobby is slowly becoming a 2nd career. And I'm not complaining! :)

Bruno was actually a Christmas gift from our friend in 2002. Our friend's dogs had a litter of puppies and Bruno was actually the last one. Nobody wanted him. :( When Mister stopped by to drop off the Christmas gifts for the family, Bruno would not leave his side. His friend told him we can have Bruno as a Christmas gift, and although he was hesitant, Mister couldn't say no to the puppy who trailed him. We never discussed getting a dog before but Mr knew I've grown up with them and how much I loved dogs and always wanted one of my own. So he put Bruno in a box and brought him home and when I nervously looked inside with Mr's urgings, this little bear like fur ball jumped up. It was love at first sight.

We always joke that Bruno picked us because of the way he was immediately attached to Mister.

Hm...I honestly don't know. I've never been one to want kids but who knows what my attitude will be in a couple of years. However, if it happens unplanned, I would consider it a blessing and not a burden.

I have lived in LA making less than $30k. It's possible but difficult. But this was awhile back when the cost of living was a lot less. Today, I'm not sure it's possible.

It depends...I've gotten great haircuts for $15 (an Armenian lady who was like my grandmother...unfortunately she stopped doing hair) and awful ones for over $100. I think paying anywhere from $40-$60 is good.

My black Louis Vuitton Mahina. I don't carry it too often cuz it's so heavy but I love it.

No way! I've never met another person who doesn't like bananas! YES, I get that ALL the time..."WHAT?! How can you hate bananas?? I LOOOVE bananas!" And then they proceed to try and convince me that I really like them but I'm unaware of it. WTF? And, yes, the Asian & bananas thing is weird. Seriously, how do the 2 go together?

Mister & I are very careful about buying organic products - whether it's food, beauty, household cleaners, etc. We also use energy saver bulbs and we recently switched our washing machine to a front load (which conserves water). We also try to walk and bike everywhere and we are big on recycling. We try to be conscious of our habits and lifestyle as much as possible.

I like that it's pretty central and we have easy access to every major fwy and you have a choice of several different routes to go just about anywhere in LA (which is so important when dealing w/LA traffic). I also like that it's a very liberal town, everything I can possibly need is in walking distance and it's very animal and environment friendly.
