I've always believed that I'm extremely lucky. The universe seems to work in my favour. My mom bought me a hello kitty necklace when I was like 7 and I chose the one that said Luck in English and Kanji over the ones that said Love and Believe or whatever. This might have been partly because my dog's name was Lucky lol.

ok after thinking about it and being asked my question back, ive realized it'd be silly to see pt 2 first, especially considering it took me three years to get through the book. I can't remember anything from the first half of the book, except that there was a lot of camping and walking around. pt1 first it is!

Ah, what do I remember of that time? Oh yes. It was Saturday, I recall. The sun was singing, the birds were shining; the snow was falling, but not here. Around these paths you would find nothing but melted snow. Some might find this to be a bother, but not me. Good ol' Samantha won't ever be the type to complain about a lack of snow.
Which brings me to my next point. Lackadaisical. What a word.
