It was a very ~*fun*~ ep. drunk!Doctor, the horse, lots of good one-liners and making fun of Mickey (ILY, Mickey!). I loved the costumes, and the clockwork monsters. It's got a great atmosphere and I thought the plot itself was wacky and pretty damn original.
I just... *really* dislike Doctor/humans. Especially Doctor/humans-we're-meeting-for-the-first-time. I didn't like the mindmeld (you just met the chick, jfc). I *really* didn't like the fact that he was willing to abandon Mickey and Rose for this woman he met a handful of times. I realize she's a historical figure and y'know going off to save people he barely knows is sort of.. ~*his thing and he has a habit of abandoning companions but ffs!
I could go on but it really makes me frustrated and annoyed. I wish I could like it more, really but all the romance nonsense gets in the way. It got in the way of the Library arc too. I pretty consistently love Moff's plots but he really fucks it up with the romance. =\ -
