Awesome jacket! It's kind of a statement piece, so I'd probably pair it with something a little more toned down. Perhaps some light green skinny jeans and some brown ankle boots!
-
Probably anything with a ratty old t-shirt and short shorts, along with cowboy boots!

Hey, thanks!
I mostly just edit in photoshop using the colour balance, but I also apply filters using http://www.befunky.com/ ! -
A few reasons, actually! I find that in the fashion and beauty industry, all too often are we consumed with the idea of facial beauty, or that of weight, or status, etc. I look down in my photos in an effort to slightly hide my features--not due to any fear that I will not be accepted, not because I am ugly, or because I am beautiful. But because I do NOT want the idea of what I look like to resound with anyone. I want to pull the focus of fashion AWAY from the face, and on to the fashion--where it should be. I also tend to wear less form fitting clothes to hide my exact weight, not because I am overweight, and not because I am skinny. I also don't tend to wear too many high-end goods, not because I am rich, and not because I am poor--I think something being $1, or $1,000, shouldn't really have any bearing. None of those things should be of concern to anyone when it comes to the fashion industry. The composition of the outfit and the outfit alone are what we should be judged by. (And even that's pretty ridiculous to me on a real-life level--who we are on the inside is what truly matters, but when it comes to fashion in general, the outfit does matter, and should be ALL that does. Not what the person wearing it looks like, or how rich they are.)
I have participated and been very well known in other fashion aspects/groups on the internet some many years before I ever had a LookBook, or a blog. And in those years, I saw countless people ripped apart for being too ugly, too pretty, too fat, too skinny. For being rich, for being poor, and for just simply being who they are. It's time we start judging people by what they're made of, and their actual abilities, rather than the fact that we think their nose looks funny, or we hate them because they have more brand named goods than us.
That isn't, of course, to downplay any blogger or model that DOES show their face, or DOES wear form fitting clothing. It's simply my personal choice as to how I decided to go about fashion blogging after my previous years seeing others be torn apart. This is my answer to how we treat each other. If I can take people's focus away from face and body and status for just a moment, maybe they'll view the next person they see differently. -
I really appreciate that, thank you! I'm just under 5'6. :)

Yep! I never finished, though. I got really sick near the middle of my 3rd year and wasn't able to go back to school for months. In my absence from school, I thankfully was enlightened as to the ways of the American school system, college, debt, etc., and really re-thought how I felt about the status quo of going to college, and decided not to go back for an extended period of time, purpousfully.
I may go back someday, but I'm really up in arms about how this nation drives its citizens into ridiculous debt all for the privilege of an education, so at this point I'm not going back just because I don't agree with how our system works, and I don't want to be caught up in that continued bullshit. -
Hmm I'm probably not the best person to ask this--I have a lot of friends but tend to keep to myself/with my boyfriend/only hang around my very best friends because frankly, humans scare the shit out of me, and I don't like most of them on a strange Aspergers kind of level. I'm sorry you feel lonely though!
However, if it's one thing I've learned about having friends, it's that you can't always expect them to be the ones to come up and ask you to hang out first, or have them be the ones to make all the plans, etc. (Not that you're guilty of that, just a statement) I suppose what I'm trying to get across is that really, the best way to hang out with people is to be the one to ask first! No one really wants to be the one to act needy, but if you really do wanna hang out and no one is inviting you out, the best you can do is ask, or make fun plans and see if some of your friends want to come along. (And if they don't, they can go to hell because I'm sure you're awesome!) -
I do not wear/buy it actively, but I do still dearly love it, and still have a fairly large wardrobe compared to most. I live in a smaller city than I used to, so there aren't as many meet ups here, and I've gotten too cheap to go all the way to "the big city" just for meets. I still wear it around friends though!
Thanks for missing me though, that's sweet of you! -
It's okay! I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with watching TV, but obviously everything in moderation. Sometimes I'll go without watching TV for months, and sometimes I'll watch it for hours.
Personally though I'd rather watch TV shows on the computer (Which is more or less the same thing) but without the brainless advertising. -
Ohh I love leopard print! Hmm, well personally I'd wear them with baggy denim shorts, a nude chiffon top, with a long chiffon sweater duster (or whatever the fuck those are called??)
-
I'm glad you feel that way! I actually have pretty uneven skin to be honest. I rarely get acne or blemishes, but when I do they hang around on my face for like 6 months.
I use these two products for makeup:
I use this one first ---> http://www.sephora.com/tattoo-concealer-P231113?om_mmc=Googlepla&_requestid=42976&cm_mmc=us_search-_-GG-_-pla-_-{keyword}&ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=1133396
Then this one on top---> http://web1.sasa.com/SasaWeb/eng/product/viewProductDetail.jspa;T7_JSESSIONID=75F4B75A2CB5A2CD5A2F62B4171863CC?itemno=103366901002&cm_mmc=google500006
Hope that helps. Sorry the links are long and ugly lol -
Yep! I get them waxed at a salon regularly and also manicure them myself in-between with tweezers. I keep them in a fairly thick style however, because I've known many people (my mother included) who have waxed theirs too thin and had the hair follicles scar over and then never had their eyebrows grow back right again if they were to want them in a different style. Thick eyebrows represent! :P (Not that any of this matters since they're usually hidden by my bangs...but whatever!!)

You can send me an e-mail at falteringbird@gmail.com if you have any further questions! :3

I bought it from Romwe.com actually! It's not currently in stock though, I'm so sorry!! :(

I'm not sure if there's really a tell tail (haha) *tale sign that it works, but my hair doesn't suck and isn't falling out so I guess so? I've never used it on its own really, so I'm not sure if it's the combination of all the things I use, or just Mane N Tail, but in my opinion, it works!

Mostly the same as me! He likes to like mostly a lot of newer "indie" or kind of electronic music. Stuff you'd find on thedankles.com or pitchfork.com, while I tend to like mostly like older rock and roll. But we share a lot of the same tastes in the middle, as well as the same!

Hmm probably pretty far! I like biking but am not super good at it or that into it, but I do like it and since I'm stubborn I could probably go as far as I decided I wanted to go! My legs are built for that type of endurance, I think. I'm actually pretty muscley!!
Also maybe a bit farther considering I have the awesome Japanese man goading me on! :3 -
A lot of different ones, haha. As for shampoo and conditioner, I use Pureology. (the kind that comes in the tan container!) I also use Mane' N Tail conditioner, and Tsubaki Damage Care Hair Mask.
