eyes...and perhaps shoulders (becoz i have odd bony and kooky shoulders)

but can i say brain? is brain a physical feature? brain and mind are not the same thing rite? but nevermind.

and not that i think i m intelligent..but it's something that is not truly fixed. you can stretch it, form new connections..poke it..plus i find the mind to be one of the sexiest part of a person..and very few can actually tell sometimes what's in it.

      Hi,

sorry for being away. lots of things been happening, but i think it hasnt been too interesting. i am afraid of boring myself and people who read this blog.

lately i have also been under the weather. went for a trip. gotten busy. and lost my blogging mojo basically. if i get it back, will write here again :)

oh dear... actually you can send a request again. (do identify yourself, becoz if i am not sure who you are or dont know you IRL, i wont accept. twitter is more private for me, and i want to keep the circle small).

if you have been inactive i could have unfollow you too . recently i had been doing some housekeeping with my facebook and twitter account. if i am not sure if you are still around..err...like no activity like that, i could have unfollow you...sorry.

but i could have accidentally unfollow you too..my hp has been rather annoying. a lot of times, it hangs and sometimes the finger action doesnt correspond to what it does. (i know it's weird) but smart phones are rather dumb.

Mrs Incredible. Elastigirl. She got a good bod (all that stretching-> i bet no traces of cellulite and flabby tummy) but is still rather conservatively dressed.

      wiki says :
      "Elastigirl

Helen Parr, aka Elastigirl (voiced by Holly Hunter) is Mr. Incredible's wife. Helen can stretch any part of her body up to 100’ (30 m) and can be 1 mm thin.

She can also reshape her body in a variety of ways. In the movie she becomes a parachute and a rubber boat, and has used her arms for swings and a slingshot.

Helen is also an experienced jet pilot (coming from having a close friend who flew her around the world when she was a Super). Her sharp wit and superb espionage skills, as well as her experience as a superhero, make her an excellent tactician and leader.

Her powers are similar to those of Mister Fantastic and Plastic Man.

Her Edna Mode-designed super suit is designed to stretch as far as she can (without injuring herself) and still retain its shape. It is virtually indestructible and can stand up to extreme heat or cold, yet it breathes like Egyptian cotton."

      cool rite?

seriously,i am not a stylish person..so hmmm...i cant say much about style or fashion. what works on one person may not work on another, that's what i think. like i wanted to say shoes that dont match/or shoes that are too matchy..but there's nothing wrong either way. japanese girls can mix anything that supposedly dont go but works for them! so style, is personal.

saying that i have to say my style related pet peeve happens to be for the opp sex. i CANT STAND that some men dont bother about their shoes. i am a girl who looks at what the guys put on their feet. not a fetish or what..but sometimes you see a man who looks good or rather presentable, well dressed, and then you look down, you see fugly shoes. some put on shoes that already have greenish mould. guys, please...

chocolates and coffee (can coffee be considered as an indulgence..or necessity?)

the internet (too much of it, more than i should.)

occasionally books, from amazon, which i order, but always don't have the time to finish reading books i'd ordered.

uhmmm..tis is a serious question. let me think about it.....

ahh..if i have to think about it, means ..err. i dont have. or at least it is not written down in a list in black and white. unfortunately, i am not that ambitious or competitive :S

but at 30 plus, one is suppose to have a better clarity of where one is heading..is more established, and it is the time to build on what you have for the years after the 30s. perhaps that is what i would like to strive for. i have a better idea, but the plans are still fuzzy tho :S

i think a lot of people would expect me to say girl!
but frankly, i wouldnt mind at all if i am bestowed with a boy, or girl. the kid is unique regardless of gender. boy or girl, a child warms the mommy's heart the same..

at the top of my head, it'll be wardah, siquekitten..if i am not wrong that's her blog name. does she have a blog somewhere now?
there are a few other bloggers from long time back whom i've continued our relationship..ceh..thru other means and who have found other outlets to express themselves, like me :)

"Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions; it is a freshness of the deep springs of life."

      Samuel Ullman

but seriously, i miss my metabolic rate, and being able to stay up late, and wake up early.

you must be a twitter person ?

actually as i age, i realised i cannot go as minimal as i used to be. i dont look as refreshed and well rested as i wish to look..LOL soooo..nooo..i also need the magic of makeup.

last time i had the good fortune of having good skin and can go out with just moisturiser, concealer and powder. that's it.

now cannot. the humidity, lack of exercise and unhealthy lifestyle means i must put on a bit more.
first i added on blusher, then i decided i need to put on foundation..then i decided i may need a makeup base on some days when i am out at work for very long hours (else the makeup just melt). now i am wearing lipstick more often..LOL..so it IS piling up.

but if i have lesser makeup, it is because i am quite a dummy at makeup lah.dunno how to apply..

the goal for me is to eventually go as minimal as before so i am trying to make my skin better now.

uhmmm..go for facial, put sunblock, take supplements.

arshad also has relatively short attention span.

we do it by making each session very short. 5-10 min while waiting for dinner. 5-10 min before tv time or after (before going to bed).

there are a few ways to teach the same thing, so the kid doesnt get restless. sometimes within one session, we change activities. once in awhile we have to vary our methods i.e change books we use, play games (can look at toys at growing fun), play puzzle, go online->starfall,watch wordworld

i try to restrict his tv time. i know that sounds evil. but i restrict his tv time when he is with me after work, because he already gets to watch tv when he is at home in the morning. so it is sort of a routine for him that he will have abt 1hr of tv at night before it is time to switch off and do other things like read or go to starfall.com. i think restricting tv time may help for boys. but then again, arshad's cousin watch a lot of tv and we think he has pretty good attention span because he has older siblings who have 'homework time', so the lil one sees his older siblings and learn to sit down. different methods for different kids i guess.

and we take turns.if i am tired, the husband will play with him or do the 'educational' stuffs.

i think diet needs to be sustainable..meaning i have to follow through it long term, because i can get reallly grumpy if i dont get food. unless i am gywneth paltrow then i have to go on the Kale juice crash diet to go on IronMan world tour, that is also a short term diet.

      my diet plan;
      1. eat things in moderation; if i eat a big breakfast, i'll have lesser for lunch. if i OD on meat and steak today, less meat for the rest of the week.

      2. eat less carb for dinner/ have early dinner and rarely have supper if possible. this is possible for us, because we are often asleep by 11pm. i often compensate by having big breakfast ->eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a princess, dinner like a pauper.

      3. allow for some sin. food sin except for eating makanan yang tak halal, is forgivable e.g eating hot fudge chocolate brownie or more than two half boiled eggs for breakfast (i do that). you just need to moderate it out and have less sinful food for the rest of the day or few days after.

      4. have lots of fruits and vegetable. i am trying to follow this. the husband is one of the few rare male humans who likes eating vegetables and is the one who reminds the wife to have more vegetables.

i would like to say, i am concerned about being healthy. at 30plus, you hear more about people falling sick. but that's not answering the question.

yes i am concerned about the weight, out of vanity, because i like to wear certain clothes. when i asked my husband about my weight, he will say that his wife is slim but not skinny. which is alhamdulliah good, but i do have days when i feel bloated (Water retention and pre-menstrual). and i yearn for the pre-pregnancy skinny times as much as i yearn for my pre-spectacles perfect eyesight days (before A levels)

thanks.once in a while i go to Deja Vu but not as often as i wish. sometimes it's just luck i find vintage-y looking ones normally at shops in town (orchard, bali lane, far east).
