Indeed, I am! However my name's originality makes things a little confusing. I'm half Thai and half Australian, whereas my name is Persian. My parents chose the name after the Persian Princess and because of it's meaning of "unique one", which I thought was kinda nice!

As many roads as it takes to find what he's looking for.

Hey there :)
I use a Canon 1000D with the lens it came with (in a twin lens kit) and also a 50mm f/1.8 lens :) -
I've had this blog since 2007 but it wasn't a personal style diary like it is now. I used to just log in and type thoughts, posts pictures that inspired me, etc. without the thought that someone else might be reading it. I treated like an actual diary, naive to the fact that others could see it. Then I forgot about it for a year or so and came back to by mid 2009 and started blogging about fashion and posting personal style pics. I guess that's when "Fairydah" began.

Thank you :) It's called "arsenal white" and I downloaded it from dafont.com

No, I don't have an ask.fm account sorry. I'm just getting used to formspring so I'll see how I go here for now, but thank you!

Aww thank you, I'm glad to be back! Do you have a blog? I'd love to see it, if so!
I've got a few ideas in mind for the blog, including more outfit posts, perhaps some video beauty tutorials, a more personal approach to fashion, and more photography. Hopefully, just a lot more! If you have anything you'd like me to include please let me know. :) -

Hello lovely, I just took my blog off private after a long hiatus but I am returning to blogging. I'm actually thinking of redirecting my blog and starting afresh. What do you think? Thank you so much for your continuous interest! You're the best <3

Aww thank you, you're really sweet. Honestly, my skin isn't very flawless at all, it's just lucky that I can use tricky lighting techniques and make up to appear so :) A cheap foundation that I have found to work well in our humidity is Revlon Colorstay foundation (they have a great selection depending on your skin type). However, when it comes to base, quality is my main concern. I prefer to spend more on foundation than any other makeup product because the quality of the ingredients really matters when it comes to your skin. Some fantastic high-end foundations that stand the test of time, from my experience, are Estee Lauder Double Wear Light and Shu Uemura Face Architect Smoothing Fluid Foundation (set with a light dusting of translucent powder). Both exceptional quality foundations that really smooth out my complexion.
I'm working on starting a new blog this year which will cover a lot more beauty/makeup related topics as I completed a makeup course late last year. Stay tuned at fairydah.blogspot.com to hear of any news...
Thank you for your question! :) -
Hey there! I'm not at the moment on any other social networking website, but I'm working on getting a new blog up and running. I'll keep you posted on fairydah.blogspot.com. A fresh start for 2011 :)

On average I only spend approx. $1 - $20aus on a thrifted item. Anything more and it's just someone trying to rip you off for something they have had donated to their store or have found for almost nothing. I know the money usually goes towards a good cause, but I also think it's important that items should be at a fair price for customers, not just priced to take advantage :)

Hey there, I never really thrift shop online. I find that the cheapest and often most unique treasures are just your thrift stores down the road. Regular visits that involve sifting through piles of stuff usual always results in the most perfect finds.

Aww I hope to come back soon >.<
My makeup course is taking up every moment of my week, leaving me no time for the hobbies I love, including blogging! Thank you so much for hanging in there. I hope to be back as soon as I finish the course, which is in 4 weeks. -
Hello! It's cool that you're interested in going to Uni. I studied a Bachelor of Creative Industries, Interdisciplinary. Personally, I would recommend majoring in something to begin with, for e.g. Bachelor of Creative Industries majoring in Fashion. I say this because the core units that come with studying Interdisciplinary are SO BORING! At least if you know exactly what you want to do, you can just do strictly fashion subjects the whole time without fluffing about with core units on 'Strategic Speech' and boring stuff. With anything at University, there is a lot of theory, so if you're ok about learning the "science" behind how the industry works then I highly recommend it. However, if you're interested in the practical side of the Creative Industries, like hands-on photography, or pattern making in fashion, or lots of Illustrator work, there are a lot more private schools and TAFE options that offer that. I would just google what you're interested in for your area. Hope this helps!

Thank you dearest! I'm actually from Australia, do I seem Moroccan? :P

Let me know when you come to Australia! :D

I was studying Creative Industries for a year and a half, majoring in Graphic Design and then this year Fashion. I've recently deffered this degree to pursue makeup artistry, my long time dream and something I feel passionate about.
