The weirdest thing I've eaten is definitely Balut. It's a fertilized duck egg with a nearly-developed embryo inside that is boiled and eaten in the shell.

I love cooking. Can I count that as a chore?
Hate? Probably the rest. Ironing, washing floors & dishes have to be pretty high up there on the loathing-scale. -
I met the hubs when I was doing the hermit thing. I spent a year in a religous community in Virginia. Lots of people from other countries would come twice a year for conferences that were help there. I met him there, where he spent a month in the winter and two in the summer I was working there. I thought he was cute but too young, and his mama ironed pleats into his jeans. (Who irons jeans?) We were friends, nothing happened, Manboy went back to France and I moved to DC.
A year later I came to France to work as a nanny and brush up on my French. And there he was, again. Manboy just so happened to be friends with the family I was nannying for. He still had pleats ironed into his jeans so I would say we were friends for the better part of a year before we melted into each other. -
It's a name a friend of mine and I once gave to a hostess at a sushi bar when we were waiting for our table to be called.
"Sassy, party of two."
I don't know, then it just stuck in my head. -
I don't think there is any one thing that can help and we all grieve so differently. Regarding the 'right thing to say', I don't think there is one. Sometimes there isn't anything you can say, and I think knowing that and not feeling like you need to fix things is the hardest part. In my case, a friend just being there, and letting me be free to be natural is a lot.

I HAVE!! But only recently, and on a dare, and my husband and 7 other people were in the room.
Does that count? -
Andrew Bird, Chris Garneau, Madeline Peyroux, Sufjan Stevens, Emilie Simon, Bowie, Leonard Cohen, Regina Spektor to name a few. I like creative meloncholy stuff that makes my heart float.

Right now I'm 'eating' a bowl of coffee for breakkie. I guess that's my main fare.

Scariest in the scary-fun sense? Or the scary-silly sense? Or the scary-life-changing sense? Scary in the scary-horror-movie terrifying sense?

Last night I had a dream that the devil knew all of my secrets because I published them on the internet.
Yeah, I believe in ghosts. -
I think my biggest phobia would be having a bone fracture so severe that it pops through my skin.

I was a salad bad wench at Mr Gatti's Pizza when I was 14.
Are 14 year olds even allowed to work?
