Feel like you should ignore it- you'd be making too much of a big deal if you confronted them, and they mean no harm. People will talk about things, and it's up to you whether or not you let these things become unnecessary expectations on you. Take it as motivation if anything.

it will be quite major for arch because you have to be in the sun quite a lot for digs
-
1. first day of uni, I got my wallet stolen (no idea when/where, but I guess if you keep your bag close to you it helps). never again apart from that and I haven't been particularly cautious
2. phone got stolen somewhere when I was going out, no idea where/when either... no idea how to prevent this, I usually have my phone in my hand, I think I left it on the table for a split second. -
true yoga - was cheap and good in the sense that there were classes almost every hour of the day, and it was pretty central. But it is really crowded now, so I'd recommend elsewhere.
I did hatha yoga, hot yoga, vinyasa yoga, pilates, yogalates, zumba mostly -
UCL gives grants for their digs since the professors run the excavation and research teams, and they need student labour. Mostly we pay just to cover expenses and like lodging, although people from outside UCL have to pay for the training experience.
Digs roughly cost air fare + 200-300pounds/week for outside of UK (sometimes even more), and 150/week within England. I managed to claim most of it back.
Apparently the US students going on the Israel dig with me are paying 5000pounds just to be there. -
I think bbc recipes! and then a lot of improvisation, they were really crisp
-
I use directions hair dye, and powder bleach + developer from a hairshop
-
Feel like a-level/IB.. generally most of my UK friends here say they were one of the only ones who got in from their college etc, whereas there're tons of Singaporeans here who would get here mostly if they just do well in their exams
-
