It really depends on the image, but in general, it takes me only a few key strokes to edit an image. So it's really a matter of how slow my computer is processing that day. I have a few "actions" I've created that I've assigned to keys so I just click them, adjust the opacity in my layers palette, and then brush the effect on or off as need on the layer mask. If I have to do any skin softening that takes the longest because of the time required to run that action.

For most my images, I'm just adding a touch of contrast, and then dodging and buring (using TRA ying/yang) as needed to highlight my subject. I try to get my color balance good in camera, as well as the lighting on their face. If I run my BW action, it tends to blow out my whites, so I brush those back in on the layer mask. I expose for my whites when shooting so I always have that detail to bring back if needed. Some photographers expose for the skin, but most of them blow out any detail in the wedding dress when doing so and that's my all time greatest pet peeve. Brides spend thousands on those details, so as wedding photographers, I feel like it's our responsiblity to preserve those intricate details as hard as it may be at times.

Currently I shoot for 2 hours and give around 125-200 images.

I use White House Custom Color (www.whcc.com). They aren't local, but will ship to my house super fast for free. And their customer service has always been awesome, so the fact that they aren't nearby hasn't been a problem. But I do have a backup local lab if I need something same day as well.
