When you first started, how much did you charge? I'm working on building up a portfolio, but it does take a lot of time between the shoot and edits. I'd love to charge a little something, but am far from a pro at this point... Any tips?
Well, you would first start out by deciding what you'd like to be charging after you've left the "portfolio building" stage. Take those prices (do lots of research...especially in your area) and then you would create "Portfolio Building Pricing" for clients, based on a discounted price of your full prices. Let clients know they are discounted because you are PBing.
