I try to get to know them a bit ahead of time, I joke with them, and I give them scenarios to act out instead of always just asking, 'stand there and smile'

I use Lightroom to cull, Photoshop to edit, Shootq to manage my business, Photojunction or Photoshop to design my albums , AlbumExposure to show clients the album and Redcart to proof images to clients.

Depends on the situation, but I am not in the practice of giving out discounts just because....instead I would work with her to adjust the package by removing something to make it affordable for her.

No, I don't, only on portraits I think it works well with. I don't think group shots should ever have grain.

I am using the Nikon D700 primarily, with a D300 as a backup, and then I sometimes rent the D3s. And we just purchased a Contax 645!

Blogging frequently (though failing miserably ha), keywords and tags on images and posts, good incoming links, out going links to other sites as well, ya know, all the usual stuff. But it goes up and down all the time, and I am no SEO master at all...

Yes, I did. I took a certificate program in Digital Photography at the Center for Digital Imaging Arts in Georgetown which is a program run by Boston University.

A little bit of everything actually! I worked for a very successful photographer right after college as her studio manager/photo editor/album designer (tho my college degree is in fashion design) and while I never photographed for her, I think I picked up on her aesthetic, which has since influenced mine. Then several years later when I picked up a camera and realized how much I enjoyed it, I did go back to school for a certificate program in photography. I also go to workshops and conferences as often as I can, and follow several other photographers blogs to be inspired and stay up to date. As for lenses, I don't have nearly all the lenses I'd like, but I do love the 70-200 2.8 for dreamy bokeh filled portraits. I know there are better lenses for this though...I just don't have them yet! And thank you for your kind words :)

I think I could still do a pretty good job :) Variety might not be there as much as if I had 5 different lenses but I know I could still get emotional shots.

Well, I think its part of the creative process to find error in every thing we do, and if we dont' then we aren't evolving artists...if that makes sense.
And you are welcome.
Great reasons to want good photos....and if you are a wedding photographer and don't want good photos for that first reason you mentioned then you shouldn't be doing it.
And, thank you, but, they don't rock it like yours do ;) -
HI - Unfortunately I don't have any other shots, as it was just a quick catch as the woman walked by me. Sorry! Very cool tattoo though!

Hmm I don't know....are you trying to tell me something? Is one of my photos up there? :)

I don't really watch movies unfortunately so I wouldn't even know what romantic comedies were from 2008, 2007, 2010 or what :)

My favorite part is seeing the couple I photograph interact together, or the children i photograph ham it up for the camera. I also love editing!
Least favorite part would be dealing with the money. I hate having to figure out what to charge, how to manage it, deal with taxes and accounting for it blah blah blah. What a hassle! -
Yes I absolutely do! :) AND they should spread the word to every single person they know!!!

I don't know enough about architecture to name a specific style, but I would say something modern, clean lines, minimalistic and with lots and lots of open window like, floor to ceiling windows and such. But it would be hard to choose! Luckily I don't have an unlimited budget haha
