What are your top 3 fashion regrets from the 90s?

    1. Not bleaching out my hair and dying it BRIGHT pink (I went dull pink/red and that was as far as I got)
    2. Not bleaching out the tips of my hair and dying them BRIGHT green.
    3. Not painting my nails black more often.

As an adult, I can't do two out of three of these. I paint my nails black as much as possible now. Looking back, I don't understand why I didn't do what I wanted with my appearance. I mean, I spent the first half of my teenage years grounded ANYHOW, I might as well look the way I wanted to while grounded.

Also, I went to Catholic school for 12 long years. Catholic school is weird in the sense that you cannot dye your hair strange colors or they accuse you of being a lesbian and you cannot paint your nails black or you will be accused of being a witch.

Freedom of religion does not extend past the doors of a Catholic school.

I think Catholic schools, especially the ones I went to, would do better to pay a little less attention to appearances and more attention to the fact that they have a horrendous bullying problem. I have seen kids kicked down stairs, and not for having purple hair and black nails.

The reason I regret these non-actions is because, even now, I look in the mirror and think to myself "That's not me. That's not what I look like."

I think it's pretty fucked up I don't know what I look like.

And now it is too late. Unless my next job is at a tattoo parlor or Pete's Porno Palace, I doubt I will get the chance to dye my hair and change my appearance to the way I want it to be.

But I guess that is why God invented Photoshop.
