the easy answer would be my two year old...in both instances ;)
1) his new thing is tickling me, so funny!
2) finding him pooping in his toy box...the joys of potty training!! -
lots of sugar and milk...or an iced white mocha, I'm not much of a hot coffee person.

on tuesdays and thurdays i help out in the mornings at my little boys preschool (at our church) and the rest of the week we wake up at about 7.30/8, eat breakfast (usually watching mickey mouse clubhouse) and I check emails and get the day started :)

dishonesty for sure. I've always been really good at reading people and it's one of the most frustrating things to me to know someone isn't being honest but them not to admit it.

I don't have a workshop...I wouldn't be opposed to doing one in the future but I don't feel like right now I have enough to give. I would definitely prefer a 'one-on-one' style, rather than a big group of people :)

i honestly can't imagine doing anything else...i started out painting, so I would probably go back to that, my husband and I would probably do a lot more music together too :)

before photography i was taking care of my little boy full time, and being a wife...it's crazy how much busier I am now, but I totally love it! :)

I would say i'm both, but if I was forced to choose I would be an experience junkie...in the end stuff is just stuff ;)

I think "man, I feel like a woman" has to be one of the top girly karaoke songs of all time...or the spice girls (for my english roots!) and "my humps" has been on the list before too
...keep in mind that I've only ever karaoke'd with a very selective group of people! -
because texas is weird like that! Winter for us isn't consistent cold weather, it's random spurts of cold and rainy days throughout the hotness ;)

yes it is! my husband created englexas when we were dating in college. I moved from England when I was 17 to go to college in IL and he moved from Houston, TX to IL...so while we were dating he would write notes to me with 'englexas' on the front. In college it was our dream to start a clothing line with the name englexas...but I got into photography first! Eventually he will be my second shooter and this will be something we will do together, but he just started his own business so he hasn't had time to learn. There will be many more things to come from the englexas brand :)

i don't know if i have 'heroes' as such...i'm honestly not as well versed in photographic history as i would like to be.
but I do really like the style of jose villa, angelica glass, max wanger, one love photo, jonas peterson, denise bovee, bonnie tsang, poser, ash imagery, jay eads, benj haisch, geneoh to name a few ;) -
that i'm a straight to the point, honest person and I appreciate it when people are the same way with me...there's not much that hurts my feelings.

It's so hard to pick one!!
The obvious answer would be my family/friends...BUT besides that another thing that has been hard for me is that there is a tendency for people here to be fake (don't kill me!!) just in the sense that there is a big drive for people to appear perfect here, they don't want people to think that they are struggling, or hurting, or have any problems...which creates a veneer that is hard to get past - which makes it hard to build relationships. In England people are more forthright with who they are, and don't feel the need to act a certain way to be accepted...when you meet a person, for the most part you are getting the real 'them' and I like that.
And of course the historical architecture would be wonderful for photoshoots ;) -
