Life is meaningless. Meaning is a human construct a product of consciousness which is in itself a cognitive illusion. Nature and the universe care nothing for... Well anything as the verb can only be used if the two are anthropomorphised. There is no meaning except that which we make for ourselves.

No idea probably "be yourself"

I feel the sloth is a kindred spirit at the minute.

Rather depressingly I do. But it's not a bucket list of skydiving shenanigans or hang-gliding hilarity. Rather it's a put my house in order list. Possibly because it only exists because it's a well honed scheme, conceived over the years, as part of an exit strategy.

Right at this minute in time? No stress. No worrying that there isn't anyone there to take my place if I make the decision (eminently sensibly) that I can't mortgage my future on frivolous things. People as committed to projects as me and willing to be there on the ground so I don't have to be. People who can just say no they can't do something and don't feel the need to stress how busy they are or how many other commitments they have without considering that it would be better to just say no. Rather than point out that they don't appear to realise the sacrifice I myself am making.

An "external port" to the brain and CNS that allowed humans to share each others thoughts and experiences (as they so wished) with each other directly. So we could truly put each other in one another's shoes.

I'm a sucker for trinkets and keep sakes. Should probably recycle the mountain of research papers cluttering up my room/office
