My first rehearsal for Gypsy was soooooo nerve-racking!! You always do a read through of the script for the first rehearsal so we all got to sit around and read through the whole show. It was incredible :) Especially because Arthur Laurents and Patti LuPone would bicker a lot in such a funny and affectionate way haha they were both just so stubborn! being in Gypsy was one of the greatest times in my life :))

Nope :/ I've been really focused on my music since then and it's tough getting jobs at my age because i'm not a kid anymore but i'm not quite old enough to play more mature parts. There aren't that many roles for teens, especially in theatre :P

Well, it can definitely be frustrating but I love what I do so the rejection piece really doesn't affect me much :) the payoff is always worth it!
-
thank you!! and yes! one of the songs no one has heard before ;D can't wait for you all to hear it!

Actually, the shows never got old which is funny because we performed soooo much. I guess just the knowing that anything could go wrong kept us on our toes and when there were funny little mishaps on stage, it definitely shook things up. It was just so fun every night wether it was the first show or the one hundredth show :)

Yup! Veerrryyyy soon :))) I'm SO EXITED and i can't wait to hear what you all think!!

Oh my gosh YES!! It's soooo weird we could seriously be twins :P

Opening night of Gypsy was the BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE. My dream of being on broadway actually came true :)))

In Gypsy, being able to stand backstage and watch Patti LuPone sing Roses turn was just so amazing. I learned a lot from an actors point of view just by watching her. And in Bye Bye Birdie, the energy on stage was crazy. It was soooo much fun every night :) it was such a great feeling! I'll never forget it :))

My whole family pretty much came up to see both of the shows ive been in and yeah my parents had to pay full price sometimes but my dad, who lived there in the city with me during both shows, would sometimes get some great deals last minute. I would get reeeeally excited when people I knew were in the audience too :)
-
YES. The coreography in Bye Bye Birdie was really tough to learn and I had a lot of trouble getting it right. I wasn't the only one having trouble but I wanted to do well! And yeah, i've messed up on stage before. It's never been anything big though. It's usually just things like turning the wrong way and stuff :P haha

Hmmm.. I look for someone who can just be themselves with me, make me laugh, who I can talk to and who I know will listen in return, someone I can trust and a boy who will be a gentleman :)
-
Yeah vocal performance is just more my thing right now considering that I want to also study songwriting and musical theatre programs don't offer that. I still love the theatre though :)
-
Yeah! I'm actually gonna look at some colleges up in the city to most likely study vocal performance :)
-
Ehh sometimes. It depends on which date it is usually. First dates, it's nice to dress it up a little :)
-
Probably keeping up with my school work :p Being in a show gets busy so you've gotta plan out your time wisely! The hard work was all worth it though and I felt like I learned and retained so much more in online home schooling than in public school actually
-
Yes, every week. It's sooo helpful. I'm of course still learning how to use my voice. It's a pretty complex instrument and it's always changing!
-
YES!! I ALWAYS get nervous and its the worst feeling :P but once I get into the audition room and start singing my song or acting my scene, I'm not nervous anymore :)
