I love everything about Jesus. He deserves so much love and praise from us, but we often push Him away through tough times... when those are the times we need to break our hearts and just RUN. RUN to Jesus. we need to run to our Father, because he's waiting ever so patiently for us to take the initiative and realize He's been there 24/7. We need to break our hearts to make us whole once again.. and realize how lost we are without Him.
I have disappointed Him SO many times. i've sinned and cursed and done so many things I'm ashamed of, but you know what? He died for my sins. for your sins. for EVERY PERSON's sins. go up to any of your friends and see if they have the courage to go through every walk and breath of pain Jesus had to fight through, just to die for your wrongdoings. Every nail pierced through his body, every strand of hair soaked in blood, every thorn stabbed into his forehead, every bruise and damage from the heavy blows.. just for you.
Jesus isn't a quitter. He doesn't give up on me. when I feel neglected and defeated, He lifts me back up on my feet with a hand reaching out, telling me this isn't the end. It's only the beginning to a magnificent journey if I'm set on the right track.
He loves me. That everlasting, intimate love that's incomparable to any other love.. He loves me on my bad hair days or the days I wonder if giving up sounds like a good solution. He never fails to bring light into my life through the storms of my path..
He has taught me that i'm here for a reason.. i have a purpose even though I often forget.. but i'm no mistake. God placed me and you here.. in this time period.. in this century.. in this generation.. in the exact place we are now.. all for a reason.
let go of all your worries and burdens. just let go and let God.
