Your etsy is amazing! I definitely would consider featuring it on the blog. Also, I'm always looking for opportunities to do giveaways! Let me know if you're interested. :)

I don't know if there is one thing that makes the best picture. i think if you can capture with the lens what caught your eye & made you want to take the picture to begin with, you've taken an amazing picture.

What's the difference between ask.fm and this? You should just ask me here! I already have too many accounts to keep track of!

First of all, kudos to you for wanting to be a math teacher! Just thinking about math makes me feel itchy with anxiety. Haha.
Anyways, I don't even know if I could begin to express what my first year as a teacher was like. Let me preface this by saying that my experience was probably not the "norm"; although, in the teaching world, I'm not sure there is any sort of norm. I actually started my official teaching career by taking over for another teaching mid-year at an urban charter school. Charter schools are very different from public schools because they don't have to follow the same "rules". They are kind of their own little world. And, the students I was dealing with (I taught 6th & 8th grade English) were very challenging...to say the least.
Honestly, there were many points during the year where I broke down crying. Actually in front of the students. But, I don't say all of this to scare you out of the profession. I think teaching is the only thing I could see myself really enjoying. Your days go by quickly. Each day is different from the one before it. And, although I expressed my frustrations with the students, there were many days where I couldn't help laughing with them & genuinely enjoying their company.
I'm not sure if this is what you were looking for. If you have any more specific questions on the subject, let me know! -
I think I finally fixed it! It was such a simple fix, but I am glad you brought it to my attention. Hopefully I'll get more comments now. Thanks! (P.S. let me know if it works for you!)

Oh, so many things! My boyfriend Kevin, my crazy cat Atlas, my silly friends, my mother surprising me with GIANT iced coffee at work, not waking up to an alarm clock this morning. :)

This is an excellent question! I would say I am most inspired by the little, every day things in life. I'm such a homebody, so things such as a really good book or poem or a beautifully filmed movie or certain moments in the day where the light in my apartment gives everything this natural glow. I also get inspired by other people's art & photography. I'm a very visually-inspired person, I suppose!
