I want to build a location-based story game - perhaps using foursquare check-in type things where a quest story is told around the city. I have lots of ideas for it, but need to learn to program it, and figure out the actual story of it. Could potentially be a group project too.

Teleportation. Never being late for work, going to visit friends and family all over and seeing other parts of the world = awesome.

I've been thinking about this one. You'd think maybe one of the tunnels under the roadway in Prospect Park, but... I think it's possibly behind my building in the middle of my block where people dump their trash and feral cats are fighting it out for territory. I definitely think people disappear back there sometimes and go some where...else. Oooo.

Why not? We've got everything except affordable housing, super clean beaches and anything particularly Nature focused. People get jealous or see us as a symbol of Western excess. I'm too broke to be particularly excessive! What's up with that?
