Okay, this question is really hard. When you say talent, it could be ANYTHING. Singing is a talent. So is dancing. People who can lick their elbow are pretty much talented, too. There are so many levels of being talented that you can't compare one with another!

Definitely private. I hate the feeling of being placed on a hot seat and on the spot. If someone proposes to you in a very grand manner publicly, can you really say no to that? I mean, come on. BUT being engaged privately does not mean that it cannot be as grand :) There are so many ways proposals can be so memorable! It doesn't have to include a Mariachi band or a gazillion people mob dancing. It can be grand, with just the two of you (and probably a videographer heehee).
