It needed a little break! It will be up next week! :) don't worry!

Depends on the camera body....

I don't look at anyone as competition. I don't say this because I am vain or arrogant, but more so because there is ENOUGH cake to go around! There are so many clients both in general for sessions and weddings that a lost session due to a cheaper photographer won't hinder my success at all. I truly feel that success is a state of mind and all in how you look at it and decide on how to gain it. Photographers charging $50/session or whatever is their own prerogative. I mean most of the time when photographers are charging this little is due to inexperience and they want to build a portfolio, a hobby, or the fact that they shoot several inexpensive sessions daily and it is profitable for them as a whole. Either way, it doesn't concern me with my packages of $350. You always get what you pay for in the end, but it doesn't affect me one way or the other!

No action-- it is my lens and body :) I use curves to lighten and unsharp mask tool to crisp.
-
No I don't. I use LR 2 I think just for batch re-sizing!
-
I look around, everywhere, All the time. Be aware of your surroundings-- you can make a location out of anywhere!

I got the nikon d80 for xmas, then 6 months later sold it and used the money towards the d300. Now i want the d700, but i won't sell the d300 because I need a backup camera for weddings!
-
what kind of posing? NB or adults?
-
I would suggest a Nikon d90 or d300 :)
-
PATIENCE! The NB will eventually fall asleep after a period of time: fed, warm, and sleepy are what we want as photographers. The heating pads sound like a good idea! You have to have them fall asleep in the pose to do it!
-
never! I use only natural availiable light outside.
-
LOTS!! I love my clients :)
-
Nope!! I use FB, the free world of social networking. Also, I am getting a lot of referrals and word of mouths!
-
Thankyou SOO MUCH! I have to say if you see an image of mine and it's really colorful, there hasn't been that much editing done to it. Typically I use my 50mm 1.4. portrait lens and I ADORE IT! In PS I simply just 'UP' my curves and add on an unsharp mask. I also use a 14-28mm 28.F wide angle lens for weddings and fun stuff!
-
I ABSOLUTELY ADORE MY IMac!!!!! It's an amazing computer and I wouldn't switch back to a PC!
-
I don't really know! :-p People just trusted me and knew that I would provide them with amazing work. I also offered extremely low prices at first and would shoot weddings for $500-$800 for full coverage. I would say both my attitude, growth, artistic talent, and charm were the best ways I booked weddings :) I place a huge emphasis on my reputation and credibility so that everyone has a good vibe about elle photography <3
