You have a few options here
1) Completely ignore them, dont look at them (AT ALL) avoid standing near them, dont go to the same communal area as them, try and stay with friends, and try and avoid the situation as much as possible, they will eventually get bored
2) Say something back. Something witty, just get some confidence to say something stupid like ''yeah yeah your mom'' or ''k'' to their face to show them it doesnt bother you and you're not scared
3) Try and get people on your side. Tell your friend this bitch is being a div so you wont get embarrassed if they ever say something to you in front of people. If people are on your side they will stick up for you -

Aw well try and talk to him. If you're confident, in person, or if your shy on facebook, suggest that you should hang sometime and get friendly, and flirty with him, so he KNOWS you like him. When he does, hopefully he'll do something about it

Well just look for signals to see if he likes you. Does he look at you often, and then look away shy? Does he ever smile at you? Does he try to talk to you, or maybe hes too shy so he trys to avoid speaking to you?
