I don't really think about her and her situation, period. I don't know much about it, I just know I'd never be in that situation, so I don't have to think about how my parents would react lol! They are super supportive, but after the second time, they'd be making me get my shizz together!! But, they would never let some guy live with us in the first place.

I feel like every child is different and what's right for one may not be right for another. I have no place to judge others for their parenting choices. So I feel like it's just not my business. I don't care either way, and respect every parent's choice to do or not do it.

ohh now you're just trying to get me in trouble ;) I have a few thoughts actually...let me think of one that's less lynch-mop inducing....uhh...I'm glad I never gave in to my baby fever until we were married, done with college, and fully financially stable.

haha well its a fair question and I am happy to answer! There isn't a short answer though. I have been on the pill before, for over 3 years. I tried 4 or 5 different kinds and never found one that didn't have horrendous side effects for me. It was HORRIBLE for my depression and made me feel bipolar and crazy, made me have bad acne, messed with my weight, killed my sex drive, among other things. I had to get on anti depressants just to deal with it. I started researching FAM (fertility awareness method), and since I was in a committed monogamous relationship and I had a regular cycle, I was a great candidate for it. Not only do I not have to deal with any side effects, some other of my health issues spontaneously resolved themselves. Was it because I got of the pill? Very possible. Other benefits: I don't have to worry about the pill drying up my milk supply, and we also get "safe" or infertile periods every month where we don't have to use ANYTHING. Taking my temperature every day doesn't take anymore time every day than remembering to take a pill. No matter what method you use, you HAVE to do it correctly for it to work...same goes for FAM. I think a lot of people think FAM is like the rhythm method, where you are leaving something up to chance...its not that at all. I have not had one pregnancy scare and didn't get pregnant until the first time we tried. FAM also doesn't mean you don't use other methods. It just means you are aware of when you are fertile or even potentially fertile, meaning you have to a) abstain (which we don't do as a married couple because if we were to get pregnant, we would still be happy), b) use a barrier method, like condoms, foam, diaphragm etc. we usually go with condom + withdrawal. For example, right now if we didn't use protection, I would likely end up pregnant so we use protection accordingly. Hope that answered it! lol

I have learned how amazing it is!

Before when I pictured adoption I had a very ignorant view, I pictured a child growing up in a home and feeling lonely and then turning 18 and going out to find their birth parents.
I have learned that adoption is amazing and beautiful and full of so much love and I never realized how great an open adoption is. I have just learned so much thanks to you guys! I never could have imagined adopting a child but after watching your videos, I really think it is something we could do!

I would, but I don't like that it's a big public event that anyone can know about and go to. I don't like that any viewers can know about it and go because there's too many creeps who watch :o/ I just dont feel safe to take my family in that situation. I look forward to the videos though!!
