It seems like you likely got sued or blocked because this is totally illogical. Why in the world would you eliminate your only "benefit" of your company and replace it with a timed tweet service?
It was actually a combination of a high churn, drift from vision and the social networks getting unhappy about people selling their data.
Once the last of these was true, it made it easier to take a hard look at the first 2 and make the decision to get away from selling social data.
Timely was something we built over the holidays to play with some new tech. We wanted the app for ourselves and it wound up be awesome, so we opened it up to everyone.
As for the new version of Flowtown, no announcements yet...
