Hello!
In terms of looks I like expressive eyes, serious faces, and a subtly gothic character that isn't cliché. Character-wise it's easiest for me to work with models who don't mind a lot of running around, experimentiation and who move naturally in front of the camera.
Usually I don't contact models, they send me a message through model Mayhem and if after looking at their portfolio I start getting loads of ideas for a shoot then I'll arrange something. I definitely recommend MM for finding people to work with. If you already have a portfolio together then you can register and maybe post a casting call for people to test with. If you don't have a portfolio yet, then take photos of friends and family and do a lot of self-portraits to get started. Hope this helps! -
It changes depending on my mood, but at the moment it's 'Reckoning': http://eblis-images.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2wh7wh It's my favourite because it's the first real attempt I made at digital art and I learnt a lot by creating it.
