i don't really remember things like this. it's odd because i know i definitely woke up early every saturday morning to watch cartoons, but i can't remember what they were. unfortunately i'm not nostalgic in that sense. at least it means i'll never wear a tacky saved by the bell or NKOTB shirt to relive my childhood.

i am absolutely not neglecting my friendship with her. i love her dearly. out of the few friends i have, she probably has a good portion of my heart. her and jeff. those two, i love dearly.

different friends have meant different things to me. i value friendships a lot, although i don't ever really try to lean on any of my friends [which is my own fault. i'm the type of person that internalizes everything], so it's hard to form long-lasting friendships. unfortunately, the truth is that it's probably easier for me to let go of friendships than it is for a lot of other people. sometimes i just get caught up in my own little world and i don't really mind being alone.

as for missing some that i may have lost along the way, there are some i miss and there are some that are lost for a reason. but i definitely love my friends, whether they always know it or not, whether i go months or years without seeing them... and other times, i think some people just grow up or grow apart.

i have really mixed feelings about answering this question because some people matter and some don't. that's just the simple truth of life. i don't mean to sound harsh, but that's just truth.

yes and no. the ones that i do keep in touch with i know in real life & consider them genuine friends so i don't really consider them the "asian avenune, fap, or apt107" people. but clearly you were part of that same wave of people/small communities so i'm sure we must have known each other on one of those communities back then since you clearly know me! lol.

my eyebrow powder is from MAC, my mascara is from revlon and everything else is from everyday minerals. if i wear eyelashes, they're usually from ardelle. lip balm is jack black menthe [it's for men, but i swear by it! you can get it at neiman marcus]. i like to keep things simple. my skincare regimen is a whole different story though. lol.

bowser, the world's best and most beautiful bulldog, is 3 years and 6 months old. his birthday is september 7th and i haven't decided on this year's theme yet. last year we were pirates and i baked him a cake & had a part with just the two of us! lol.
i bought him online and he flew in from missouri on american airlines on thanksgiving of 2007. best purchase ever. he's so smart and funny and i can always count on him to cheer me up!

    7. vee

wow. i don't even know how to answer this. i am happy. extremely happy. like lame, i miss him all the time even after just a day apart, can't wait to kiss his face happy. ring or not. married or not. i don't know what my face has to do with any of this. i'm not trying to be a hollywood housewife. right now, i am loved for my heart, my mind, my other talents & gifts separate from my face and that's what will make us last. i don't care what people think i should or shouldn't be doing with my "precious face". i just want to use it talking with and kissing my bf. sappy enough for you? fuck off.

    8. vee

definitely a "guys girl". just by default, grew up with almost all male cousins except for two, always hung out with boys at school because i was a tomboy and wasn't one of the "cool, pretty" girls at school. haha. i used to beat boys up. it's funny because my bf thinks of me as so delicate and feminine, but i was a tomboy in elementary school, a jock in high school and a hiphop head in my early college years. so while i've grown up, at heart i'll always be a guys' girl.

    9. vee

probably not. i have my tumblr and even that gets neglected pretty often. even this formspring gets tedious sometimes. i really wish i could get back into blogging though, especially since now bloggers are parlaying their blogs into such great business opportunities. now my brain is turning its wheels & concocting a blogging comeback! LOL. damnit.

    10. vee

i do, but it's probably boring to most people. I like super chilled Ketel One vodka & club soda with a lime. if my sweet tooth kicks in, i'll add a little veev liquer or elderflower liquer to that mix. other than that, i keep it super lowkey.
and in general, if i'm at home, we'll have cabernet.
after mixing a million neon drinks and watching people get trashed, i can't pour those drinks down my throat. bleh.

    11. vee

haha. is this even a question? yes. tera patrick & supreme. dope, indeed.

    12. vee

ummmm. wow. LOL. "mad settled in or some ish?" i'm interpreting that as meaning that i'm in a settled & serious relationship. yes, i am. but no, that is not why i don't go out. i don't like clubs. i think they are disgusting. i can truly say i have never ONCE had fun at a club with friends ever. EVER. i go with the bf when he has to make a work appearance & i have fun then because we just always have fun together. but as for how i choose to spend my time with friends, yes, you are correct. you will NEVER see me out at a club even if all my friends are there. not my style. i like to post up at a lowkey bar and have fun there. that's more my style and luckily that's more of my bf's style too.

    13. vee

i don't know you and i don't even know how to answer this question because i'm not sure what you heard or why you're so interested in a relationship that ended when i was a teenager!
yes it was rough, personally, but i don't even know how you mean that statement really. i guess all relationships are hard and that one was particularly difficult but i moved on and found happiness. that relationship didn't define me.

      - i've traveled to NY several times, all over the state - fire island, long island, hamptons, upstate, 'burbs, manhattan, brooklyn. it's cheesy but my favorite is still long island because it's slower-paced & it's where the bf grew up. <3
      - i've also traveled all over california, especially san francisco and san diego
      - vegas
      - arizona
      - seattle, washington
      - vancouver, canada
      - portland, oregon
      - puerto vallarta, mexico
      - oahu, hawaii
      - hawaii
      - kauai, hawaii
      - london, england
      - liverpool, england
      - connecticut [for only part of a day, not much]

and in a few weeks we'll be going to santa barbara together!

    15. vee

i love ANIMAL on fairfax ave., CAPO in santa monica [went there for my birthday and had theeee most amazing lobster risotto!], bay cities deli in santa monica for sandwiches [godmother FTW!], church & state, rivera, bottega louie, father's office, sugarfish, rustic canyon wine bar, gjelina, pizzeria & osteria mozza. i guess a better question would have a specific type of food in mind since i love food & could talk about this all day, EVERY DAY!

    16. vee

wow. coming out of the gate with the question in all CAPS. anyway, i have dated guys who were shorter than me. MUCH shorter in fact. i went to formals & proms with guys who had to stand on phone books and steps for our photos. haha. anyway, it wasn't really a big deal for me. i think they had more of an issue with it than i did. although now that i've gotten older and having dated people who are closer to my height, i can't really see the shorter partner thing being feasible. besides, i'm happy with who & what i've got right now. :)

    17. vee

favorite shoes: i love my red-toed black leather louboutins... the very prive style and my black suede & cork prada wedges. and as for favorite bag: i'm really loving the bag that the bf brought home from one of the sundance gifting suites. it's kind of a putty grey, super soft leather cross body bag by George Gina & Lucy. it's so functional and sturdy & beauuuutiful. but my bags and my shoes always switch throughout the seasons.

    18. vee

i didn't really stop it ... i just got busier and the busier i got, the less xanga became a priority unfortunately. and it sucks because i lost touch with a lot of great people because of it and i still think blogging is such a great way to get to know people, but i just don't have the time for that anymore.

    19. vee

lol. i was never a model. i may have been in front of a few cameras and a few nice pictures may have come out of them before, but i was definitely never a model. ;)

    20. vee

i already answered a question similar to this i guess as to the privacy of people and the fact that just because i like to have online profiles doesn't mean that it's my right to include my significant other in those public profiles. if we're friends then you've seen my facebook. and i think i may have posted a rogue photo here and there on twitter. other than that, sorry. he's not really comfortable with being so put out in the public light since he has his own life and career going on.
