All errands are done on the weekend as a family. Andy helps me with laundry on the weekends too. Cooking family meals was really tough for awhile there but now we are back into the swing of things. It's all about planning ahead! :)

Pretty early. I can't remember exactly but he was able to identify all of his letters by 20 months and was able to count to 10 at 18 months.

He will have diabetes his entire life. The body has attacked and killed all of the cells that produce insulin in his pancreas. He would die without insulin. Andy and I have no family history of it. Evan has a 1% higher risk than the rest of the population.

Difficulty falling asleep, up many times throughout the night, up early, short or no nap, loss of appetite, wild/lots of tantrums about everything, excessive drinking, wetting through every single diaper, telling us he doesn't feel good.

It is harder than I ever imagined! Henry still has not had normal blood sugar levels and it has been a week. Every three hours 24hrs a day poking him and fighting him to give him shots...calculating every bite and drink..plus having a 2 month old and pumping....completely exhausting! I can't do it alone so I am at my parents. Miss home and Andy so much. Life is definitely hard right now. It could be much worse so thankful for that!!

I was scared but it worked out and he is so worth it. I did hemorrage again but not as bad as the first time. I don't think I could ever have a third though...however, I am only 7 weeks postpartum. I just don't think my body can handle it.

I have a JVC Everio and have been looking for a new camera for awhile now. I can't find one with everything I am looking for. The JVC that I have is bad in low light and that is what I video in 90% of the time.

Just visually by looking at his lingual frenulum and the way he can move and stick out his tongue there is just no way he is tongue tied.

We have a breathable bumper that we used for Henry and we are going to use that for Evan when he gets bigger.
