I was ready for it, having watched all the USA's games last summer at the Confederation Cup in SA. However, you would think ABC/ESPN could team up with Bose and introduce noise-cancellation technology for the TV broadcasts. It's even worse in the radio...

I don't have any real first-hand knowledge of the state of the CAA 2D program currently, only what I've heard from friends. I understand the program is a bit different, but that's to be expected given the amount of influence a single artist-in-residence has over a small program such as Cranbook.

Yeah, I limp around the local pitch on any given weekend. Indoor is more of a requirement given the winters here...soccer is made for 11 v 11 outdoors on grass.

As a designer, not as an artist, I believe that less is more (if less is done well.) Distinctive, memorable and simple design solutions are always the hardest to attain—not only due to the rich history of design (read: what has already been done) but also because the distillation of a singular idea down to its core (and the accompanying visual articulation of that concept) is just plain difficult. When it's done well, its successful design that's memorable and (usually) effective.

Also, less is more in golf.
