Hi there, I use the brush tool to paint! Even though my settings do change depending on what I'm drawing, here they are at the moment. (My most recent deviation would have used this.)
You're right, and usually I don't like to share brush settings because I think it's not all that important! For me, I guess, it just doesn't make a world of difference. Try all kinds until you find something that suits you. Good luck! -
I'm far from young, but I'm very flattered that you think that way about my art!! Personally speaking I feel that I'm rather old, but I'll continue to draw nonetheless. Thank you for your kind words!

Hello there! * - * ) The sad truth is that my lines are very rough! I have a problem with lining things too cleanly, and so my lines are actually not... clean. ; v ; I use the airbrush tool, plus a texture to make it feel a bit more like a pencil! ; v ; b

Thank you for the kind comment! = v =) I've had a tablet for 3 years * - *), I've been drawing for a little under twice that * - *).... as for my age I am 19 hahaha.... getting on in my years, you know? u v u) I wonder why everyone is so curious to find out how much of a granny I am.
-
Hahaha another age question ; v ; ) everyone seems to be curious as to how much of a granny I am! Thank you for the kind words, = v =) I'll just answer one of them so as not to spam it 6 v 9

Hi, thank you for the kind comment! However I really don't have any tutorials for things like painting or colour picking....
For painting I am still learning myself so it would be best to ask someone else for that! ; v ; I like to look over the painting styles of people I admire and whatnot, but mostly it's trying to make myself comfortable with it ; v ; ....
As for colour picking, I really just do it by eyeballing. I don't have any specific method for colourpicking nor do I really know what I'm doing, but I just try to use what I think might look good! It's always worth going through and trialling colours and whatnot to see how they match up.
Best of luck! -
Thank you very much, hopefully you'll be able to catch one someday!

My livestream account is doriru, same as here. However, I do not record any sessions nor do I keep a record, I just generally do them on a whim at no set time ; v ;
If you can catch it, feel free to say hello! -
; v ; ) not really! I enjoy food too much to be picky * __ *....

Hello! Thank you, I'm very flattered that you like my art asdfgsadg;;; ヽ(;▽;)ノ
When it comes to improving faster, let's see... there's a lot to bear in mind when you are trying to improve at a faster rate, but the main thing is to just keep drawing. Draw different things. Try new things. If you keep testing yourself and pushing your boundaries, perhaps you may not improve but you will perhaps find a style you better like, or a technique you find useful!
The only real key though is to observe. Observe everything. Keep your eyes open, always study, always look! My improvement I think is just stagnant because I'm so ignorant really - but best of luck improving! ヽ(;▽;)ノ -
Hmm, I'm not entirely sure as to what to say when it comes to questions like this.
I don't really have what you would call standards when it comes to art skill - and not only that, but everyone's improving pace is different. It depends on the amount of work they put in, not so much how long they have been drawing - it also varies depending on their passion for it and general interest.
I'm not going to make any comments that will put her down or praise her, but I'd like to see where she is in a few years. ヽ(;▽;)ノ -
I am not whoring myself at all, but thank you for your concern ?? I take on commissions as they come, and while I don't consider myself extremely busy with them (because I take a lot longer to do commissioned work) I haven't run out of work so far, which makes me happy.
I've already raised the prices, and for my level of quality I think they are still fair.
If the time comes when I think I can raise them again, I certainly will. -
Nope, I referenced from photo stock! I use already drawn pixiv flowers every now and then for my art and patterns -
I think it's probably better to go from photos anyway = 7 = ;;;;
but I'm sorry if they look like something from pixiv, did someone complain to you or did you find a similar set of files? -
Hmm, did I delete that from tumblr? Sorry! http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/5852/ayadoooodle.jpg
Here you go.
hahaha I didn't think it was so great but I'm flattered that you'd ask for it! -
I still draw bucketloads so that I can improve - I drew basically whenever I got time back when I started out and that... hasn't really changed much now either 6 7 9 I want more time to draw!
Just draw as much as you can, really! -
Hmmm... honestly, I'm more of a crime/thriller book person myself! If it's not a classic, it's probably something along the lines of The Da Vinci Code hahaha = 7 =;;;;
A fantasy series I enjoyed was Sabriel and the rest of the Old Kingdom trilogy! It's quite popular so you may have read/heard of it before ; v ;
Sorry if it's something you've read! -
Hello! Wow, that was a long time back! Sorry for the late reply --
It is called Gretel and Hansel, a little cute (horror-themed) flash game that's loosely based on the story.
This is the link to the first one : http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/515322
and the second (which is the one you're talking about) should be linked further down the page! Do give it a try, they're quite interesting! I'm sorry about my awkward narration ehehe;;; -
Sorry, but the Ib drawing was (aside from a couple of adjustment layers) a one layer painting! I really doubt you'd learn anything from it.
Perhaps for something else, someday! -
; v ; )99 You can be!! It just takes some practice and dedication to get to where you want to be.
but do aim higher!!!!
There are countless, countless artists who are much better than I am.

I'm open to most questions generally, as long as you can deal with my spasmodic vague answers!
