Well, you know, a lot of people have crushes on me, so I really don't blame you :) No no, don't be shy. You don't have to hide behind a fake profile — it's perfectly natural :) I won't judge you! (Much.) Anyway, if you ever want to track me down and chat for realsies, you know how to find me ;)

I love all people in varying degrees, because everyone is beautiful and I love meeting new people :)
Unless you cross me. THEN I WILL FIND YOU.

Man, who keeps asking all of these tough questions? Alright - I'm going to assume you're asking about my job, which in effect supplements the rest of my living - but that's a whole 'nother topic.
So I work for the Province of Ontario. Not a secret - it's all over my Facebook. And my LinkedIn. Sometimes even my Twitter if I'm feeling REALLY crazy.
My position is a Project Planning Coordinator. But what does that MEAN?
I don't even know, to be honest! I'm kind of a Jack of all Trades guy in the office - our office has a number of disciplines in which it specializes, and I've touched upon each of them at one time or another. I'm in an office of unique people with unique positions. Great place to be! -
The holidays are going well. I don't have an account and don't really intend to get one. And technically, we're not talking - I'm just here chillin' on Formspring - I think you're mistaken, honey!
-
What you need to do is figure out what it is that you love and go from there - awesomeness is such a relative thing; what you're really asking is this: how do I take something that I love doing and make money from doing it?
Don't get me wrong - it's not easy. It's not easy at ALL. I'm still trying to figure out how to take all of the hobbies I do and make them into something that will put food on the table in unconventional ways... but I'm not quite there yet.
First, figure out what you love to do.
Then figure out how you could do it better.
THEN figure out if there's something related to that hobby that's missing. Possibly something that doesn't yet exist that could make it even more enjoyable? Once you've gotten your epiphany, run with it. I don't care if you don't have the funds to do it - that's an obstacle to conquer. Right along with not enough time, not enough support - if it's important enough to you, you'll find a way!
So figure out what awesome is first, then plan on how to make money from it. With enough hard work, I think the rest will just figure itself out.

Dear Kevin,
Sorry it took me so long to respond. Let me finish the answer I'd been putting together for you now.
Surprisingly, this is a VERY easy question for me to answer.
The key thing I want to accomplish in my lifetime is making Fish 'n' Chimps (FNC) a household name. Since 2003, the ideas surrounding FNC have been developing in my head, on sheets of paper and on the computers I've had over that time. It's gone from a number of different scraps of paper and ideas all over the place to a better-developed idea with a skeletal storyline, a cast of characters with each being very individual and better art than I've ever seen come from my hand.
It will take a long time to make this goal/dream happen - it's not a short storyline by any means, and I'm hoping that eventually it will get to the point where I have a staff of people working on it. But that's a long way down the road.
The first thing I'll need to do is get up off of my ass and get back to producing the strips. -
I dunno - is this Joe Flores a good friend of yours or are you simply a bot stalking him?

I try to make time for people when possible - anonymous person, please contact me through one of the multiple channels and perhaps we can work something out :)

HA!
A day at a time.
A task at a time.
And with as much grace and backup planning as possible :D
Nah, but seriously - most of it is just ploughing forward without taking the time to overthink consequence - just do what it is you aim to do and tackle each new adventure as it comes to you :) -
Because I love Magus to death, I'd have to say either Frog and Magus, where Frog goes to square off against him for revenge; or Magus' Revenge, where you follow him on his path to right the injustices of his past. Ah, Chrono Trigger. How I love thee.

Ew - maybe when I was a kid, but now? Ewwwww.

Ludacris, T-Pain and several other rappers would likely argue yes.
I would argue with whatever won't give you a killer hangover in the morning. -
It's hard to really name just one. Let me go with three that have really made a mark on me.
CHRONO TRIGGER: This is my jam - one of the original, if not THE original RPG that you can play over and over, partly for the fact that it has a killer fighting system, but also because there's 20+ different endings. SO GOOD. I've loved this game from the first time I laid hands on it, and don't see it falling out of my top three anytime soon.
THE LEGEND OF ZELDA SERIES: Yeah, it's really hard to narrow this down to a single game - I'm a big fan of A Link to the Past and the Ocarina of Time - but the entire series is great for me, and I love to play it on a regular basis. I'm eagerly waiting the next installment :)
BATTLETOADS: By far the hardest and most fun game I've ever touched. No other game kicks my ass like Battletoads does. If you haven't played it, go find a copy and a Nintendo and do it. Now. You won't regret speedbike racing, surfing, snake riding and just going freaking insane.
Those're my three! -
That's a tough question. Being me is often not too bad a deal, but that wouldn't give you an answer at all.
The answer I OFTEN give is me after I've gotten through the major hurdles and obstacles of my current life, but then again, one always finds NEW hurdles and NEW obstacles to get themselves mixed up in, so perhaps I should choose someone else.
How about... Paris Hilton? Okay, let me justify this. Rich, spoiled girl whose major problems seem to be who she'll spend the night with and what shoes to wear. I'd spend a day just to try and figure out what the heck she's thinking. If anything at all.
Seriously, I don't know - I have no good answer for this whatsoever, sadly enough. -
lol, look at me posting this everywhere so everyone can get all up in my business!
I don't think Montreal will see me this year, unfortunately. I DO have plans to be in Quebec around then, but in a far more remote area.
Maybe next year, though I still need to check out Ottawa on July 1st, so maybe not till 2012.
If the world's still standing then, that is... -

Man, you know what? When it comes down to it, it's probably the desire to continually improve at the things I do. The places where I'd love to see me get better and eventually maybe be able to earn a living are areas such as:
*art
*songwriting
*information visualization
*web architecture and design
*writing
*business reconstruction
There's a lot I'd like to do, but I try to keep in mind that there's only 24 hours in a day. It's hard - I go to sleep sometimes wishing that I could've accomplished more in an evening.
I think having friends who choose to often challenge me also helps - many of my closer friends know what I can be capable of when I REALLY work at something, and will often see if I'm selling something short.
In the end, I'd love to make my mark - but it'll be a long journey until I do it :) -
This very much depends on what the question's referring to.
On a girlfriend? Never - if you're planning to cheat on someone, it'd be far better to break up with them first, like Donell Jones' "Where I Wanna Be".
On a test? Not that I can remember - if I was going to get a bad mark, I had it coming.
On a video game? All the damn time. Game Genie, what!!! -
LOL. My next trip to England, eh? It was originally looking to possibly be fall 2010, but it might have to be 2011 or something. If the cash flow suddenly increases like crazy, then perhaps even sooner. Let's see???

What motivates me? Good question, my friend.
I guess the answer lies in a few areas:
1. The knowledge that with the more drawing I do, the more I'll improve and move toward the skill level I want to be at to draw Fish n' Chimps
2. The fact that I have a story I want to tell - it's all in my head and I'd love to get it down one day for everybody to see - that's something that keeps me going - knowing that I can eventually share this great thing with everyone
3. I like creating new ideas - whenever I come up with something new and keep working at it until it looks exactly the way I want it to - that's something that gives me great joy :)
I don't think I'm giving up drawing anytime soon, for these reasons.
