hmmm....thats a toughy, I love both for different reasons. I know thats a cop put but there are things I hate about both shows too that make 'em stack up about equally. Sorry I couldn't be more decisive. If I had to live with one, I guess I'd choose Project Runway, just 'cause its the original.

meant for me, huh? You must be one of my old podcast listeners, 'cause I used to listen to bands like this all the time. Since then, though, I've come to realize that the majority of them sound the same. I don't mean to be a dick, its just that I feel like its important to broaden my horizons beyond bands that wear glamour kills t-shirts and sing sugar-tastic songs about girls. You should too. I promise you'll like music so much better.

Depends on if they're really goth. I have plenty of goth friends and they're pretty down-to-earth people. But I don't think "mall-goth" is really goth, and anybody who considers themselves part of a subculture because they buy tripp pants, wear black lipstick and photoshop pictures of themselves to look angsty are lame as shit.

used to like it. Though its getting a bit oversaturated. Its becoming all about the fashion and not enough about the music. More importantly its difficult for me to respect a scene that would try to find sentiment in a Brokencyde song. Sorry.

ugh. hate them more than scene kids. synth+metal+rap=major suckage. I mean come on, isn't it obvious?

I'm starting to think these are all coming from some higher-than-thou hipster chick at my school who's thinking she's being oh-so-ironic by sending me these.

But its okay, I'll still answer you're question.

I don't care about it. At all.

True true. and when gaga first came out I totally thought she was the first mainstream scene girl. I was fucking stoked. But she's evolved (in a good way) since then and Jefree has too. While they both dress wacky and wear a shit ton of makeup, there's a major difference between them (besides the fact that jefree has a dick) and its the fact that Gaga simply has more class. And that's saying a lot. Jefree seems to piss a lot of people off just cuz he can, and Gaga is a lot more content with thinking before she acts. As wild as her concepts are, all of them have a deeper meaning. Jefree just wants to sing about fucking. And that's why I don't think they are as similar as they appear on the surface.

I like Armor, too.:) My top 3 would have to be..........hmmmmmmmm.......Idk, too hard. Can we settle for top 5? Okay, good. My Chem, The Academy Is..., Paramore, Smashing Pumpkins, and Queen. Fall Out Boy and Panic used to be there, and I still love them both dearly. But Folie A Deux sucked, and then they had to go and break up, and then Panic! did their whole semi-split, and I'm sorry, but neither panic nor the young veins sounds as good as afycso-era panic. I don't count pretty odd. I thought it was dreadfully dull. You can't have a record devoid of any melancholy. It gets boring.

*googles i am ghost* I like them both for different reasons. Tegan and Sara sounds more sincere to me personally, but I do like I Am Ghost. They kind of remind me of 2005-era pop punk. That was a good time, man...

    16. Don Edwards

meh. I like Tegan and Sara's music better than mayday to be perfectly honest. But if they are indeed bad sports that does put a damper on things. I'm just there to see Hayley effin' wail. Final Riot looked amazing and I'm so pissed that I didn't go.

    17. Don Edwards

Not sure yet. The lineup for the past 3 years hasn't impressed me. Its more likely I'm going to see Paramore at the Honda Civic Tour.

I don't think emo is really that popular anymore. I think there are way more hipsters and indie kids, and all of them are posers and need to be wiped off the face of the earth. Claiming to be part of a subculture under any circumstances means you're a conformist, so therefore, they're already being hypocrites. Just be yourself. Don't let a label define you, that's what I say.
