Well, I'm back to work now. I miss being home with MiniDork and hope to go back to being a SAHM after we move away and I no longer work where I currently do. But I do enjoy the work I've been doing, which makes being away from the MiniDork a lot more bearable.
ManDork is waiting anxiously for next month when he will *hopefully* get an invite to interview for med school.
I'm throwing a baby shower for a friend next month.
We'll be moving to either Calgary or Edmonton this summer, and MiniDork and I will hopefully visit Ohio in the fall.
And, um...lessee, what else? I've been sewing every day and plan to sew all 365 days of 2011. I'm also looking forward to doing more blogging once I'm not working any more (knock on wood).

You can take two approaches I think, give the people who whined last year a regular gift or give to the charity and ignore the whining. It depends on how much it matters to you that these particular people aren't happy with their gift. Ultimately you're under no obligation to give anyone anything. Personally, I like to give gifts I think the * recipient* would want, not what I want them to want. We only make charitable donations on behalf of friends and family we think can appreciate that. Everyone else gets gifts (often handmade). You could give baked goods as an accompanying gift to the donations.

I appreciate the gesture, but I think it is in my best interest to decline. I'm moving on much better than before {which is why I haven't written on that blog in ages}. And I try not to think about the church anymore, just because I don't like to bring up the angry feelings.
I'm glad you liked my blog though, really, I am. Thank you.

If I had to choose one side or the other, I'd say pro. I know that some doctors out there are over prescribing. I know that some cases of, say, depression, need to be treated with therapy/life changes/etc. in addition to pharmaceutical therapies. But being ADD I have personal experience with medications and I know they can and do help {and I know I'm not the only one}. I think some people in our culture rail against ADHD meds because they think it's just a discipline issue but these people, if they had any clue what living with AD/HD is really like would not say that. Medicate case by case of course. Some people prefer to use managing tricks to deal with mild cases. And I salute them. And some people just don't like the side affects. But if you need it you need it and that is between you and your doctor and not any of my business.

I like it when I have questions to ask or people I follow have recently answered something. But most of the time it's pretty quiet.

No. I've got some social anxiety issues and real life interactions scare me into not really being myself. Twitter is where I can be more real {though even then, I don't share everything}. I was a bullying victim all through my childhood and teen years and haven't yet gotten over it. Plus I'm still recovering from some of the damage from Mormonism. That culture doesn't exactly breed socially and emotionally healthy young women.

Private jet. No contest. I can use a private jet to visit my mom whenever I want. No yacht will get to south-western Ohio.

Honestly haven't seen it. We don't have cable, and we don't go to the movies often. {Just twice since MiniDork was born, once for Avatar and once for Inception.} But I'll have to look up an online trailer...*watches trailer.*
Meh. Looks like another high-budget superhero movie. I'll probably see it eventually. I am happy to see that Kat Dennings is in it. I liked her in Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist.
