It feels good just to know that you are taking a step forward. If people want to support us along the way then thats even better. when it comes to the music.. We write what we love, what feels right. people seem to like it. So we just do what comes naturally and try not to focus on how it may be judged. Keep in mind that you have five guys with totally different music backgrounds together to write one song. You never know what you're going to get. The goal is a little something for everyone.

assuming that all friends and family are out of harms way... ...i would grab my guitar (it's priceless to me), my baby taylor (it's priceless to my mother) and photo albums (because i'd never hear the end of it from Kat. ha)

ideal stage setting is a loaded question. naturally i would love to play bigger stages in theaters and bigger venues. the bigger stages feel professional and most of the time sound better. however there is something about playing a dive bar or a small club that makes me feel at home. whether is all of us in a tight space sweating, bleeding, and banging through a set or a crowd that is always hungry for more. it just feels right. lighting is something that i don't really pay to much attention to. it's cool to look back at a video and say "man those lights made the stage look great" but i don't really notice in the moment. the right season to tour in is tricky. depending on where you are.. the summer is generally too hot, the winter is almost always too cold, and spring and fall usually feel pretty good. but you always have to go out without reservation and focus on the goal even if it is december in chicago. just go out and play!

I know this is the politically correct answer, but Ive really enjoyed every band we've toured with so far. Some for the music, some for the friendship, and most for both of those reasons. Every single night has its own memories. Favorite show we played has to be with Social Distortion though, those guys are incredible! Very inspiring. DG

well for me personally i can't say i have a favorite. every song is so unique but so close to home at the same time that wether or not im doing something difficult or the simplest part of the set, they bring out all the right feelings at the right times. if that makes sense. G.N.

The Gramercy Theatre in New York City was a pleasure to play. The venues that go above and beyond to treat bands well are the best. Some of those are Bottletree in Birmingham, AL, Buster's in Lexington, KY, Buffington's in Milledgeville, GA, The Hummingbird in Macon, GA, The Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, CA, The Note in West Chester, PA, & The Basement in Nashville, TN.
