Not the most expensive ones, perhaps surprisingly. I think it'd have to be my vintage floral Doc Martens. I proper LOVE those bad boys!

Hey lovely! How are you? What are you and Aaron up to thurs night? We are all going to the pub garden for the evening, come! Haven't seen you in agesss xxx

Thanks, dreamboat! It needs to grow two more inches - so that my fringe is properly grown out - and then I'll be happy.

Although today my fingers are itchy to a) cut in a really short fringe and b) bleach it even lighter. Paler and paler orange, yummmm.

For the most part, I'm not really an animal person. Even if I had some kind of personality transplant and had hand-crafted this velociraptor in science laboratory through many years of painstaking work, I think my blood would scream and I would shoot it.

Although in theory is it possible to imagine an opposite to many both tangible and intangible things, I personally find infinity an especially tricky concept because although I cannot imagine not being alive, I have a strong personal sense of myself being finite. In this case, knowing of white does not make black more imaginable.

I feel the same way about infinity as I feel about God: finite is to infinite as human is to God. It would be nice if they existed but I do not think they do.

But if there's no infinity that makes what is beyond the universe... well, nothing at all. Just a void. And if there's no God, that makes what is behind (and indeed, beyond) human life nothing. In some ways that's a scary prospect and in some ways it's a freeing one.

Perhaps everything is infinity not as a line but a loop. The universe really as that sideways figure of eight; human life reallyas an endless trip through hundreds of lives. No Heaven, no Hell, no begining and no end. No void, no God.

Yes! Although I was due to be born on Christmas Day and if I had been (if I hadn't been a week late) I wouldn't like Christmas.

Blimey, what a great question! I'm assuming that I'm going to be the size of a Borrower and living in a normal sized hat so I'm choosing a mens (for a bit more space) trapper hat: brown leather on the outside, brown fur on the inside and two poms poms attached with string to the flaps.

In the winter, I plan to live inside the hat, drawing the flaps closed and tying them shut with the strings tucked inside to use the pom poms as chairs. In the summer, I will sleep with the flap doors open and sit outside on the pom poms to enjoy the weather. I may also leave one pom pom outside to catch dew to drink/wash in each night. I want brown so that I'm a bit camouflaged because I'm very tiny and need to stay safe and leather so that it's as waterproof as possible.

I hope this is a satisfactory answer, hat person. Please don't shrink me to the size of a borrower!

Good question! Unfortunately, it is not a clear-cut answer. It completely depends on the outfit. I have bought vintage that I have removed shoulder pads from... and I have bought new that I have put shoulder pads into. The answer is maybe!

What you need to ask yourself is 'What Would Bowie Do?' He would not be slumped on the sofa! He would be out there living his slinky-hipped space-man life. I think you should watch a little bit and then start pretending that you ARE Bowie.

As a child I wanted to be a writer or an astronomer so how could I say no? This does, however, depends on a few things. Is it forever? In which case - no. Is it just for a year or two? In which case - yes! Although maybe not at this point in my life. But to look down on the Earth from above... wow.

I have a PC but I can use a Mac - although I'm a little more awkward on it. In the fashion world everyone has a Mac but me though!

It's probably a vanity thing. I really love my name and so I like people saying it! My mum also used to sing nursery rhymes with my name just plunked in - "Baa baa black Amy/Have you any Amy?/Yes Amy, Yes Amy/Three bags of Amy" - because even as a baby this made me really happy.

The one exception to this is that awful Britney song "If You Seek Amy." I hate it. She made my pretty name into a swear!

I know you wrote this two months ago and I'm sorry I never responded but to let you know - this has been making me smile the whole time. Thank you.

I'm hoping that my blog really takes off! I hope to have a PR/journalism/styling role in the fashion industry soon (ohgodpleasedon'ttaketwelvemonths) and I hope to keep ameliorating myself in every way.

I've put off answering this question because I'm finding it really hard to answer. I want to be happy, be working in my chosen field and be pushing myself creatively. Basically!

I graduated this year: June 2010. I wouldn't necessarily recommend doing a fashion journalism degree, in all honesty. My favourite parts of the course were my Cultural Studies modules and my final major project: a portfolio on the theme of colour. (As in rainbows; not as in skin.)

I don't really know how to answer this: I'm not a journalist and I don't have enough experience to give you a real answer. But what I will say is: you'll be able to get into journalism if you're good enough. Give it a shot!

I grew up in Luton, Bedfordshire in England. My family background is mostly distant - my real family is small and deeply loved. I enjoyed school until I was about fourteen when I suddenly couldn't wait to leave and get to college and start my real life! I've wanted to be a writer ever since I was a tiny little girl: fiction, mostly, but that has evolved to include journalism (and blogging, too, of course. Four-year-old Amy didn't know about the internet then!) I wanted a cat, an adopted daughter and a house with a balcony by the sea full of books and dresses. I'm not sure that much has really changed, hopes and dreams wise. And, of course, some days I still feel like I'm waiting for my real life to begin.
