:D I love this! I realize I am kind of ambiguous with my, uh, Job! I work Full Time as an Administrative Assistant at an interactive ad agency. I don't do anything artsy here, or at least I don't get PAID to do it...

When I go home at night and on weekends is when I let my creativity spew! I haven't made the leap to be JUST an artist yet. Though, I keep feeling closer and closer to the decision...

It honestly depends on the size of the artwork! I generally sell drawings for $40-75. Paintings is more about the supplies I use and how long they take me. If I were averaging on a painting, it would be between 250 and 500 now. Mostly now it's getting higher because of how much time goes in to my abstracts, for instance. The truth is, I love creating for the sake of, so I am always considering the budget of people who ask for art. I think everyone should own art and if I can help out in the appreciation for it, why not!

Hmm. I go in huge changes of inspiration. Right now, most of the bohemian artists are inspirational to me, mostly because of the lifestyle they lived. I crave the idea of painting by day and philosophizing by night with likeminded individuals! To work off of other peoples' inspiration and musings is always helpful and I love the push/pull of it!

I wanted to know something fun about you. I figure that if you get a drawing out of me, I should get some fun and unique looks into your personality. My art hints at my personality, so it's my way of getting a little piece of yours!

Rock on Art History and Sculpture! I certainly could! I'm jumbling around a few other art projects, so as long a there's no immediate "Dinah-has-to-finish-this-in-five-minutes" timeframe...

This question is kind of tricky... I love food in general! I suppose the best answer I can give is this: Food that is worth every penny or incredibly cheap for how delicious it is. I'm a bargainer. I'm more likely to be impressed with something if it is delicious and cheap as opposed to overpriced and delicious because then I am too critical of the value of each bite

Only if you tell me who you are and what your top three favourite smells are?

I like the smell of gravel made damp by a warm summer drizzle.
I like the smell of indoor furnaces in the early afternoon during winter days.
I like the smell of everyone I love in flannels when I go in for a hug.

Just me would be quite alright. It's important to love ourselves unabashedly and without resentment.

Thanks a bundle! What's your dissertation on? I went to school for Art History because I thought there was a better chance for me with it than as an Art major. Well, I haven't found a job yet, thus occupy almost all of my free time painting, drawing, sketching, writing... etc.

I bet you ARE able to draw and paint! It just takes a lot of time and determination to get to where you want to be... Also, finding your own style is hugely important.

As far as commissions go, I haven't had a commission out of the country! The UK would be a fun place to start. I have a small wall map that I dream to put push pins on at various locations of where my art is!

Yay! I'm slightly afraid of trying to sell cards, mostly because I wouldn't even know where to start! I would also want to make them all completely original, so the idea of having prints made of them baffles me right now. My own line would be awesome, though!

I used to draw unicorns and dragons all the time! I should try a series of magical creatures! Suggestion?

I moved over to pen and found that I loved it way more than pencil! Don't get me wrong, I love that I can do realistic shading with pencils, however I found that I became more stylized with ink. When I first popped over to pens, it was usually whatever I had with me, mostly Pilot v5 pens. A couple of weeks ago I bought my first set of Prismacolor Premier pens. I'm still getting used to them, though.

Hmm. I recently moved to Minneapolis, so I should be asking a local the same question! Though - I was lucky enough to find a pizza parlour called Fireside Pizza [I think...] and it had drapery divided the booths into small and personal crevices!

I adore small and intimate concerts, however I crave the hustle and bustle of large festivals and being able to bounce around between all the goodies. I'd love to go to Bonnaroo again, actually. Lots of neat bands on the lineup there

Goat meat. I just had some yesterday, for the first time. I was really proud of myself for attempting to try it. It is, you know, apparently one of the most widely eaten meats. I had a bad experience. We went to a cute little family-owned foodery and the one woman was the only one working. The place was packed. My meat was green. And undercooked...
