Canberra is cold at night.
Most of Canberra's Tegan and Sara fans are straight boys.
The streets of Canberra are like a ghost town on weekends. -
Tune in tomorrow night 8-9pm on JOY 94.9 to find out! Ha. OK, that's a bit stiff.
Heartbreak songs are essentially songs with lyrical themes of love lost, break ups and other relationship tragedies.
As you'll probably hear tomorrow night - Jade and I both have very different taste in "heartbreak" songs.
I'm inclined to pick emotive ballads by divas and perhaps, even morose dance ballads - eg. 'Girl Overboard' by Girls Aloud, 'Love Never Loved Me' by Geri or 'Heartbreak Make Me A Dancer' by Sophie Ellis-Bextor/Freemasons. -
if by guilty pleasure you mean something I'd be embarrassed to admit- then it'd probably be dancing to Lady Gaga and Miley's Party in the USA, not very indie of me I know

Diff'rent Strokes content has subtly evolved over the years. Kinda like the Sugababes' sound.
We reinvented the show format over six months ago to become more "media" focused and that has made coming up with topics easier.
We've got staple segments like: online, TV, music, podcasts and now, flashback... and I guess we try to pick material that the cool camp and geeky kids these days can relate to. - Dave -
We haven't been on a holiday together before. I think we should hit up Europe, I'm already imagining the photos we'd bring back. I think we'd be able to agree easy enough we're a very democratic show. - Jade
Europe would be common ground. I'm sure there are sights that'll appeal to both of us and there'd be things we'd like to see on our own. For instance, hard as it may be, I might have to say 'no' to Jade coming along to a Cheryl Cole show. I can't share Chezza with Jade. It's my own quality time with Ms Cole. - Dave -
No matter what day of the week, pop music consumption and spending quality time with my little brother are the staples. Everything else just revolves around them... :o) - Dave

"How To Get A Job In Publishing" - yet, here I am - Dave.

Fellow esteemed users like @bui and @fauxhemian - Dave.

At the moment? Jason DeRulo, Jay Sean and any of other similar male R&B singers with generic, albeit lovely, voices - Dave

We've been on air for two and a half years now. In October we will celebrate 3 years of Diff'rent Strokes. My personal favourite episode is either of our music episodes. My least favourite is probably the one where I wore heels only due to the punishment my feet took that week. -Jade

We were actually named by great friend of the show Katie Lawson. We struggled for a long time to come up with something that captured what our show was about Katie suggested Diff'rent Strokes and the rest is history
-
Absolutely! Let's see how we go. Bring on the questions, the etiquette dilemmas and relationship/dating dramas...
-
Good question! Given that we span from indie/folk (strummy lala) to British pop and even contemporary R&B - might seem like not much we'd exclude.
Except - perhaps - country, trance and death metal?
Having said that, we generally don't do current Top 40 hits that are already flogged to death on commercial radio stations ;-) - Dave

Diff'rent Strokes with...’s Bio
Where camp and geek collides for an hour of pop culture and media banter!
