I'm beginning to learn C and then Objective-C, with my end goal being to develop nice Cocoa and iOS applications. What advice could you give me in terms of reading material, handy software (other than Xcode) and other general advice? Thanks!

Apple's documentation and demo projects are always a great source of information too especially when you are learning the ropes.
