I hate it when people call me Gracie. You wouldn't believe how many people assume that I go by that and call me Gracie- in business meetings, on press calls, it's always a little annoying. I wouldn't ever say to someone named Rebecca, "Hey, Becky! We'd like to talk to you about featuring our products!".

Ok, Gracie gripe ending...

My parents had a few nicknames for me. They called me Linguini Beanie and that got shortened to Beanie or Bean, which they still call me.

They also call me Stu sometimes, which is an abbreviation of Stuart, my middle name.

But my friends don't call me anything but Grace- it's not really a name that lends itself to a lot of fun nicknames*- but I'm ok with that ;)

*in elementary school this horrible kid in my class kept saying "My name is Grace and my face is disgraceful!" to me in a sing-songy voice. i wanted to punch his lights out. that line actually came from a fun kid's video i used to love, so i tried to pretend he meant in a nice way ;)
