Flew me to Florida, handpicked a perfume for my birthday, day trip to beach w/ my favorite board game, planned dinner, evening walk...

I have respect for anyone who pledges a greek organization and actually does so for the right reasons. Some people aren't able to go undergrad, but I still respect them for sticking to their goals and pledging later. It's true that some folks who go grad chapter might not be able to participate in some of the "activities" of going undergrad, but honestly, I have more respect for what you do AFTER becoming a member. Now, I do not respect individuals who pledge to wear colors or to become popular. Ultimately, fraternities and sororities were created to reach a hand back and help their communities while uplifting themselves and each other.

Wow, that's a new one! But nope never wanted to be a Zeta at all, nothing against the ladies of ZPhiB, but just never saw myself going in that direction.

In 5 years, I'd like to be transitioning out of the workforce and into becoming a full-time business owner of a design firm and a consignment boutique. I'd like to go back to school to get my masters, so by then I'd like to either be enrolled or planning to in the near future. Hopefully living anywhere but Richmond. I'd like to be a 2nd-time homeowner by then and it'd be nice to have marriage/kids on the horizon. Ummm and I'd also like to have traveled at least twice out of the country on an extended vacation... possibly Africa or Japan.

LOL! Really!? I guess I could've taken the easy way out and "joined" AKA, but I wanted to be a Delta before I went to UNC and after I got there and saw KO, I was determined to be a Delta. Of course, with my mom being an AKA, I think it was assumed I'd go that route, but it wasn't for me. I pledged Delta because I could relate more to it's history and purpose and I felt more aligned with the women of Delta Sigma Theta. And yea, my favorite color is green, but I'm not really into the whole "prissy, mirror thing." Shouts to my mom though :)
