I'd say it's popular multiplayer games that tend to be over-rated.. like the CoD franchise and a lot of PC multiplayer games that people are obsessing over nowadays. It's things like that which seem to get all the spotlight when there are a bunch of great games that slowly fall into the sleeper category because of it.

I'd have to say Hans Zimmer, Akira Yamaoka, and Brahms take my top three.
