The massive amount of space in the universe is humanly incomprehensible.
(Knowing the numbers and visualizing it are two different things.)
We can only see a few thousand stars.

Over ten thousand galaxies are in the ultra deep field.
Millions of stars.
Each star with possible orbiting planets.
Each with the possibility of a civilization.

It would be ignorant, as well as arrogant, to believe that we are the only ones. That we are special.

We are infinitesimal.
