This is a complicated question. I think it is easy for people to look at a specific case and say that the individual got off too easy but when you look at the broader scope and breadth of the law I think it all makes sense, it is more the application of it that we sometimes lack and why we get the impression of people getting off too easily.

I've never been on a vacation so I'm not sure.
I know this sounds odd but when you grow up on a busy farm you end up spending vacations helping out on the farm. Now that I am working in the non-profit industry I just haven't had enough money to go on a vacation. -

I have been cheated on a lot, have I cheated on someone? Well that one is kind of a technicality. The someone and I were over and we both knew it, just noone had said the words. So yes I have.
Could I forgive someone who cheated on me? Of course, cheating to me is a symptom the someone is bored or unhappy. I can forgive someone for being bored and unhappy, but I wouldn't continue to be with them. -
Short answer: Yes
Long answer: I would try to work on it with him first, especially if we had a great connection otherwise, but intimacy is a huge part of a relationship and if one or both people aren't enjoying it someone is going to cheat and then you have nothing left anyways. -
