how do your film photos at shows show up so well? what film/camera allows that much light to be captured without blowing it out?
The most recent ones I posted on my blog (http://toomuchtooyoungblog.blogspot.com/2011/01/religious-girls-milk-bar-san-francisco.html) were taken with a disposable with the flash on. They were actually quite underexposed and while I like to keep my film photos unedited, this set had cause for some slight editing to sharpen the images up and bright the subjects to light. Otherwise, I take photos with my Canon EOS Rebel S II (from the 1990s) and typically use 400 film with the camera's built-in flash. That's the only specifics I can give you because I don't know much else! The only thing I can think of is that I'm almost always up front at shows so I get pretty close and choose the right moments to take a shot (i.e. when the lights on stage momentarily brighten).
