What's your favourite album of all time?
Allllllllll time? This is hard. My first favorite album was Tidal by Fiona Apple, and I can still be in the mood to hear that album whenever it comes on. I love Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon and Garfunkel, there are a lot of great songs on that record. I'm not too ashamed to say Deja Entendu by Brand New, even though they're not really what you'd expect someone to cite in an all time list... Sgt Pepper's is my favorite Beatles album... And yeah I wish I could pick just one.

Is there any way to send eight separate channels from a Roland TDW-20 module (drums) to the digital inputs (either ADAT or S/PDIF) of a Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 interface? We've already tapped out the analog ins with vox and instruments.
You can take the stereo out of the TD20W into the Saffire, but that would only give you a stereo mix. There are two ways to get all 8 channels. There is the cheap and slow method. Record just stereo SPDIF with the rest of the band and also get the MIDI. Once you are done, play the MIDI back into the TD20 and rerecord the individual outs.
The other way is to add an A/D converter. This would be something like the Digimax D8 or the Focusrite Octopre.

I don't love covering songs, but I'll learn one for fun. I like Superbass by Nicki Minaj the best. That rap is really fun.

I have connected a roland handsonic to my Mac with a simple midi connection, similar to my maudio connector for my alesis. Now, when i play the handsonic, I am getting sounds out of garage band and not actual handsonic sounds.
Right! MIDI is just a remote control language in it's simplest form. If you want the sounds of the handsonic, you will need to connect audio connections too.

How many back up singers did you have in Another Night and You Are?
None, they're all different recordings of me. Apparently on Another Night there's almost 30 separate vocal tracks or something. But yeah, they're all my voice, no back up singers. :)
