Yes, for good and bad reasons. There were 24-hour 'class marathons' in highschool I participated in. Years ago I was addicted to an MMORPG and stayed up playing until the sun came up. A few years ago I suffered from gallstone attacks, making it impossible for me to sleep sometimes.
