It took me 5 months to find another job. I don't think it's my final career but I've been here a year and a month and love the people I work with, the location (my Alma Mater), the benefits, etc. I had a years worth of emergency fund before I quit which was what I used to justify the decision. The fund has since been restored and I am much happier now. -

I just recently (this week) started a Vietnam fund! A small fund so far. I really want to go back with my parents. I would feel wrong going before they get a chance to revisit. So this could be a few years.
Umm.. I've only had Saigon/Ho Chi Minh street food (amazing!) couldn't tell you where to go, everything is good!
Do get Pho, Banh Cuon, Bun Rieu, and rice cooked in lotus leaves.
When I go back, I want to see the more rural parts of Vietnam. I've seen some pictures from my friends' vacation pics and they're all breathtaking! -
Once I've mastered something in the kitchen, I stop ordering it in restaurants. Because my list of mastered recipes is still modest, it would appear I like to search for good restaurants that make what I like.

Haha. I'm not sure I can verbalize it. I know I look very Vietnamese and can usually tell the difference... Can't verbalize it through..

I would say since I was born in the US, I have one home country. I do like to call Vietnam my motherland. I have love for the history of Vietnam despite its comunist goverment and love for the US for its freedoms and always struggling to figure itself out.

Yes to all but cockroaches. I have tried silkworms and that's as about buggy I've ever been. I almost tried grasshoppers at a restaurant in Houston called Hugo's. It's one of my favorite restaurants so maybe next time!? I forgot that last few times.
